Purchased this refrigerator to replace a 7 year old French Door refrigerator. The freezer compartment in the french door style did not allow easy visibility of the freezer contents. The GE side by side model we purchased has ample lighting on both the refrigerator and freezer side and the many shelves, door shelves and compartments allow us to easily see and find what we are looking for. GE engineers did a great job of designing form and function in this product. The fingerprint resistant stainless steel keeps the outside looking clean. I would highly reccomend this refrigerator.

Was sent this refrigerator after my whirlpool took a dive and had a hard time getting a repairman scheduled from geek squad to come out to fix. So glad i had purchased the extended service contract. After several attempts for the appointment, geek squad finally decided to just go ahead and replace with new one. The delivery gentlemen were very helpful and thorough. When called the helo desk to order the replacment of my whirpool , the best buy rep highly recommended the LG brand. Refrigerator is Very quiet and gets really cold...lots of space for food saving. Thank you Best Buy & Geek Squad team!!!

Really nice fridge. Does everything you could want and has a lot of space for everything!

Contemporary look, minimal noise, and ample space.

I purchased this refrigerator for my son's new home. They loved it. I chose it because of the space it offered in the fridge and freezer. I also like that it is fingerprint-free, so the chrome does not need constant wiping. The chrome went perfectly with their new kitchen. No problems thus far!

I upgraded from a white refrigerator and the difference is unbelievable. I got it on sale. Lots of lighting, very quiet and spacious. This refrigerator is huge so make sure you measure. The delivery guys had to remove the doors to get it in my house. They were very respectful and patient.

It has a lot of space, I like it, we haven't had any problems with the refrigerator.

Nice refrigerator. They have improved the lighting inside. Easier to get to when they have to be replaced. The 2 things I don't like is the placement of the shelves. The spacing has changed so things don't go in the same places as my previous one and my son always gets crushed ice from the icemaker and in the 2 weeks since I've had it it's jammed twice which is a hassle.

I was hesitant to buy GE but learned they were bought out 3 years ago so it’s a whole new company-I purchased an extended warranty “in case”. This side by side is far nicer than my LG that died after only 4 years ( compressor) and half the price. LG did not repair nor replace my side by side but Best Buy will actually stand by the appliances they sell. This GE is quiet, shows no fingerprints on the exterior, offers 3 drawers for my perishable fruits, veggies, meats and I love the ability to move the shelves to accommodate tall beverages or fat melons.

The refrigerator has lots of compartments: 3 storage drawers in the fridge - one for cheese/meat, one for fruits & veggies, one large one for things like yogurts, cottage cheese, etc. Plus 4 large shelves for food/leftover storage and 5 door storage areas. In the freezer - 2 drawer bins, 4 shelves, 5 door storage and an icemaker. LED light is excellent. The water dispenser drips every time after getting water.

It's a decent refrigerator. Plenty of space and adjustable shelving. If you have a tall glass, it will not fit under the water dispenser

Finally gave up on my Samsung French Door fridge. Do not buy that garbage btw. This fridge is so much better. It cranks out ice, is super quiet, maintains temp well and just feels solid. Highly recommend.

Large interior but not a large exterior size. Very Quiet! Wish it was brighter inside but not bad.... At least LED. But for some weird reason there is a spot made to put a shelf on the top of the fridge side door but there seems to be no shelf that is made to fit it?!..... Insane and disappointed. All in all a great fridge so far.

Spacious refrigerator the alarm for the door is convenient. The shelves seem sturdy specially at this price point. Temperature settings are easily set . Works great .

Delivery was on time. Men who installed refrigerator did a great job. Like the color and inside features. I especially like the inside lighting. Everything is visible. Ice and water dispenser works well.

Grate looks, works great, low level noise. Enough space for what we need.. No mayor complaints. I would prefer more lighting to the back of the refrigerator and and freezer but not to bad overall. I would recommend this product. No issues so far.

I was eager to get my first side by side fridge but am not thrilled with how easy stainless shows fingerprints. To its credit, this model is fingerprint resistant. Additional pros are that its quiet and spacious. The only con is that I'm fearful the shelves are too thin. Any amount of decent weight on a shelf and it seemed to bow in the middle. We've learned to put the heavier items at the edges where it is better supportive. This is a big negative but can be worked around if you have a family that is conscientious about where to put things.
