Seriously the only thing bad about this fridge is that the crushed ice could use a little more crushing. But, we love this fridge and it looks very beautiful in our kitchen! Our ice cream is always perfect and our juice is always cold! Great deal!

The refrigerator is quiet, and works as it should. Mine came with a scratch on the side that is visible and is kinda annoying. Apparently, I didnt catch it while it was being delivered, there is nothing that can be done, that is what i was told by the sales person I got my stuff from.

The fridge door does not close on its own, there is like a notch on the hinges that stops it from closing by itself. you have to push it close, otherwise it will just stays right where you left it. Maybe that’s why there is a Alarm that beeps if the doors are open. The ice dispenser is ok. It takes up more freezer space then my 1st fridge and they are the same size fridge. And where the ice comes out into your cup, the opening is too wide that if you have a medium or small cup ice comes out and falls all over the place. Last is the door compartments in the fridge and freezer, just look at them good there are a couple of really skinny compartments, I like wide door compartments. I noticed the small things but never thought about it when I was looking for a fridge, next time I am gonna be more aware

Great product. Very happy with the purchase very nice color as well. It's pretty quiet while it's running.

This Side by Side Fridge has everything you need . Large Ice storage and through the door water and ice. Got it on sale for $1k and it's Has full size capacity. Very clean and worked perfectly since it was delivered. The only noise I Hear is the water running for ice and cold water. Sound doesn't last long and is not annoying. If your ice container is low you will here ice dropping in the very large storage container.Overall very pleased with this unit. All Fridges make noise and I do not find this a problem as some reviewers complained about. Nice Slate finish looks good . Some people might like smaller ice bin and therefore giving more freezer space . Cannot beat the Price/size/function of this Fridge. Only thing I do not like is the stainless steel handles. Tried to get away from stainless with the slate but the handles show those annoying fingerprints . Still give5 stars. Will not be disappointed. Also shelves are easily adjustable in the door and shelving. Nice LED lighting.Ad usual Best Buy excellent install.

Good looking fridge! Doesn't have too many bells and whistles, but it looks great, runs quietly, and has a good number of shelves for our food. If you have a large family, it will probably be too small for you. But we're a couple, and it's perfect for us. Be aware of distance from other appliances. Our fridge is right across from the dishwasher, so both can't be open at the same time. Water and ice taste clean and fresh.

The refrigerator is sophisticated without being complicated. You don't have to worry about adjusting doors or gaps and its nice sheen, stainless steel speaks for itself, although it takes awhile to rub off the sticker residue and finally keep it stainless in appearance. Overall a very cozy, kitchen companion. It came missing the manual and the Allen-wrench for the door handles; hence, the four stars. Also, there were some undulating indentations on the back -- mild sloping hills with dipping valleys. More than likely, they're all like that and if they're made in China, they'll all be more or less the same.

Nice external finish. Inside is roomy. It's not as loud as previous people say. It does hum like it's making ice maybe once a day or so (even though I never use ice from it), but when I do happen to hear it? It's only a 2 on a 1-5 Annoyance Scale since it only lasts a few minutes. Otherwise, cooling in both fridge and freezer sides work well. I was surprised to find you set the temp above the water spout. Thought this made the fridge more High Tech as you don't have dials to twist. Speaking of the water, the installer recommended running about 2-3 GALLONS (not cups) through the spout before drinking it or using it for ice. This way all the internal nasty can be flushed out. I just filled up an empty milk carton 3 times and was done with it. Good fridge. Happy with purchase so far. If this changes? I'll update this review.

Facing the fridge, the right side keeps things cold while the left side keeps things colder. Water and ice come out through the door when the lever is pressed. Alarm sounds off if the door is kept open for a long time which is helpful to know if the door was left open but the weight of the door closes by itself anyway. Very easy to install and slid right in. The only issue is that it is too tall for the space given by about 1/2 an inch and was not able to slide all the way in as the previous fridge was. Too bad there isn’t a height adjustment.

Very Happy with this refrigerator. Like having actual temp reading along with filtered ice and water in door again. Had a new French door style...moved it to garage as a secondary. Not happy with French door style...do not like a freezer draw and digging thru frozen items. Prefer side by side....total ease and plenty of storage.

We bought this refrigerator to replace a similar GE that was about 13 years old. That fridge was still working (just wasn't defrosting automatically) and we could have kept it going another few years, but we decided that rather than putting money into an appliance that was getting close to the end of its useful life, it was time for a replacement. We also considered LG, but concerns over the compressor (despite the 10 year warranty) steered us back to GE, especially considering the mostly good experience we've had with the old one. I've seen some comments about this (and other) current GE refrigerators being significantly louder than older models, but that has not been the case, it's pretty much the same level of noise as the previous one. If you're standing near it, you can hear it running, but it doesn't stand out and is not offensive. The ice/water dispenser opening is a little shorter than our previous fridge, but it seems like the water stream comes out at more of a forward angle than before, so it's still easy to fill bottles and larger cups. I like the exact temperature setting and display (old fridge just had basic numeric settings of 0-9 or something like that). I'd say the only significant con is that the lighting is not great... adequate, but fairly dim.

Love the color. The frig is very nice, only one complaint is the light fixtures are bulky in Friday’s & freezer which takes away from utilization of space. Cannot stack on top of each other because of it, other than that I love it!

New refer is great. Installed easily, works will to keep things cool. The only down side is the control panel is not lit - at night you can't see if you are going to get water, cubed ice or crushed ice.

What I like best is that I am able to adjust the temperature of the freezer and refrigerator to exactly the temperature I want. There is a digital display and the temperature can be changed very easily. The refrigerator also looks very sleek and it is super quiet! I am very happy with this purchase!

The new refrigerator is great! The bigger ice machine is definitely a plus and has been able to keep up with our needs without running out of ice. The stainless steel looks good and is easy to clean. The unit also runs quiet...

Everything you want in a fridge, except the food! Make sure you know how to lock the wheels or it will roll each time you open the door!

I really like the side by side style, easy to get at the contents, easy to see inside. I previously purchase the counter depth model but was disappointed in the lighting inside, very hard to see anything below the top shelf once you have food inside and it was a little tight on space so I returned that one to get the 25.4 model. Extremely happy with this one. GE put in another light midway down so visibility is very good, as it should be. This one cost half the price of the counter depth model and it only sticks out about 2" further, you don't even notice it. Good lighting in the freezer section also. Door shelves and interior shelves are very well constructed, very thick material, feels like it will last fore ever. The sliding tray in the middle is great for cheese or lunch meats, something the counter depth model didn't have. Also plenty of shelf slots to re-configure it as you see fit. Ice maker is great and produces plenty of ice. Electronic temperature control is dead-on, no need to worry about the settings. The slate finish leaves no fingerprints and the look of it fits in with any kitchen. Best Buy was great in handling the return of the first one and let me keep it until the 2nd one came in, and they did a fantastic job with the delivery & set up, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Really no issues with this. I am not picky, just wanted a basic fridge. Definitely has the space and look I wanted. I chose this one over the fingerprint resistant one because I thought that was unneccessary. The fingerprints show up on this fridge immediately and drive me crazy! Wish I had thought of that before. Otherwise, no issues and do like the fridge.
