Scratches and dirt smudges everywhere. Returned it for a new one. New one makes loud noises, can hear it from the other room with the TV on. Kinda ridiculous. Best Buy has been cool with swapping out fridges but at this point I regret buying and just want a good fridge.

I did check our specifications on this model and it does appear to come with a dark gray case rather than stainless steel. I would recommend checking with Best Buy to see if any of our stainless steel wrapped models will work for you. For the food freezing issue, we'd recommend an article on our website titled "SXS REFRIGERATOR - TOO COLD, FREEZING FOOD." - A boiling, gurgling, or knocking sound can be heard when the unit is running. This is caused by the circulation of refrigerant. You can read more about normal sounds under the article titled "REFRIGERATOR - NORMAL SOUNDS AND NOISES MADE." PROS: The compressor is very quiet so that I can't even tell it's running sometimes; more shelf adjustment slots in the fridge than others I was looking at; more veggie bin space than others I was looking at (hard to find decent veggie bin space these days); glass shelves are sturdy and hold heavy containers fine; no problems with it cooling and freezing as it should; door gaskets are tight; the stainless steel seems high quality and fingerprints aren't too bad and easy to clean; digital temp setting on freezer door; beautiful blue dispenser light for night time; it's gorgeous IMO. CONS: Space on fridge door for condiments & such seems less than I'm used to (but works for me); there is a large gap between bottom basket in freezer and shelf above it, which is wasted space (I bought a cheap undershelf shelf at discount place to slide onto the wire shelf, to add a mini-shelf); ice bucket in freezer is not removable I think. I can't speak to the icemaker because I decided not to use it, & instead use ice trays, & interior ice bucket for storing more freezer food. (Icemakers are just one more thing to break, & I don't use much ice.) This has been a high quality, excellent fridge so far. NOTE: For the proper cooling & freezing, note that initial use instructions are in the manual; I recommend you follow those instructions. You're not supposed to plug it in and immediately start putting stuff in it, expecting it to cool properly. Also, if you don't have much stuff to put in it right away, as I didn't, it helps to fill some jugs with water in both freezer & fridge, because if the fridge is full, as the items get cold, it helps the whole interior maintain the temperature.

Renovated 5 years with new appliances. Refridg. died.....None repairable. I am am basically forced to purchase the same refridg. to keep everything matching.
