Great refrigerator with plenty of interior space and light. I like being able to store the gallon size drinks on the door. The only complaint and it is a small one is the water comes out very slow. Very happy overall with the value.

All things being equal we chose this refrigerator because of the position of the light around the door. This refrigerator also checked off our other bucket list items. It was the exact size to fit under our cabinet, it had 3 drawers in the refrigerator side, it had an easily accessible filter. Of course I was prepared with a list what I liked as this is the 3rd refrigerator I've had to purchase in 8 years. Here's to hoping GE won't let me down like the previous brands we have purchased!

AMAZING! Not only is this fridge exactly what we needed but the delivery and install team were fantastic. The fit was a little tight so they, without any complaint, took off the doors and made sure everything was installed exactly how it should have been.

Sleek and unobtrusive. Inside is roomy, well lit, easy to find things in it. Ice maker/dispenser and water dispenser work nicely. Very happy with it.

I am happy with my purchase and decision for the side by side. I have so much more freezer space and the refrigerator is plenty big. My favorite feature is the ice maker and dispenser which I use several times a day. It is also quiet.

This refrigerator is the same size and the one I replaced but it holds so much more and the quality is better. I really like the amount of space each shelf has and the large amount of items that can be held on them. Plus the added feature of being able to see all the items without them being totally lost behind the items in the front of the shelf.

Purchased this refrigerator to replace a 7 year old French Door refrigerator. The freezer compartment in the french door style did not allow easy visibility of the freezer contents. The GE side by side model we purchased has ample lighting on both the refrigerator and freezer side and the many shelves, door shelves and compartments allow us to easily see and find what we are looking for. GE engineers did a great job of designing form and function in this product. The fingerprint resistant stainless steel keeps the outside looking clean. I would highly reccomend this refrigerator.

Was sent this refrigerator after my whirlpool took a dive and had a hard time getting a repairman scheduled from geek squad to come out to fix. So glad i had purchased the extended service contract. After several attempts for the appointment, geek squad finally decided to just go ahead and replace with new one. The delivery gentlemen were very helpful and thorough. When called the helo desk to order the replacment of my whirpool , the best buy rep highly recommended the LG brand. Refrigerator is Very quiet and gets really cold...lots of space for food saving. Thank you Best Buy & Geek Squad team!!!

I purchased this refrigerator for my son's new home. They loved it. I chose it because of the space it offered in the fridge and freezer. I also like that it is fingerprint-free, so the chrome does not need constant wiping. The chrome went perfectly with their new kitchen. No problems thus far!

I upgraded from a white refrigerator and the difference is unbelievable. I got it on sale. Lots of lighting, very quiet and spacious. This refrigerator is huge so make sure you measure. The delivery guys had to remove the doors to get it in my house. They were very respectful and patient.

We bought this side by side to finish our kitchen appliances in GE's slate color. We are pleased with the size and quality of this unit. It has the features we needed and more room than our other side by side. In all fairness, it may be slightly bigger. The storage compartments are similar but better organized. The only fault we would cite is that the slate finish only appears on the front, whereas we expected it to be on all four sides. Where our refrigerator is located, the front and right side are exposed. The black finish on the side clashes with the slate on the front. It gives the refrigerator the appearance that GE ran out of the slate finish. The refrigerator goes from a regal appearance in front to a cheap appearance on the side. The pictures you are allowed to see do not show the side views except at a very slight angle that most people would not notice. This was deliberate on GE's part, or it would not have left this view out, showing the black finish instead of the slate. Deceptive!!!

Great function, steady cold temps, quiet enough and looks great

Works great but after using for a month, realize that the distance between shelves limits the options for organizing. Too much top shelf distance limits where you can locate all the shelves below. It gives you only small item space on lower areas and the only option at the top is to stack things (slightly inconvenient). Ice maker or total fridge is louder than expected. Regardless of these things, it works great and looks good.

Works great! Really enjoy all the different compartments for storage as well as the ice dispenser! Such a sleek design

It's a decent refrigerator. Plenty of space and adjustable shelving. If you have a tall glass, it will not fit under the water dispenser

Love my new refrigerator so far Like all the special lighting features inside and out Keeps food and drinks at a good temp

I was hesitant to buy GE but learned they were bought out 3 years ago so it’s a whole new company-I purchased an extended warranty “in case”. This side by side is far nicer than my LG that died after only 4 years ( compressor) and half the price. LG did not repair nor replace my side by side but Best Buy will actually stand by the appliances they sell. This GE is quiet, shows no fingerprints on the exterior, offers 3 drawers for my perishable fruits, veggies, meats and I love the ability to move the shelves to accommodate tall beverages or fat melons.

Nice refrigerator. They have improved the lighting inside. Easier to get to when they have to be replaced. The 2 things I don't like is the placement of the shelves. The spacing has changed so things don't go in the same places as my previous one and my son always gets crushed ice from the icemaker and in the 2 weeks since I've had it it's jammed twice which is a hassle.

Nice refrigerator and it works well. No complaints about the unit itself. Installers were rude, stole 2 pound package of Havarti cheese and a pound of sliced salami (in their defense it was almost lunch time), did not level the refrigerator, did not install any shelves or accessories, broke a large flower pot in the outside walkway. I would recommend hiring a different installation company. I especially like the number door and shelf spacing options that appear to be unavailable on other brands. I like the option to add cubed ice since I do not have a water line hookup available.
