I had an older GR refrigerator before finally deciding to get this one. Black slate looks gate and the drawers and space is exactly what I was hoping for! The handle did fall off as soon as the installers left but thankfully total tech is sending them out a few days after I called about the issue.

We love the look and size of our new fridge but I fear it wont last long, it sounds like cheap plastic when opening and closing the freezer door

Bought this fridge thinking about the quality of GE products and to keep the same brand for all the other appliances already in my kitchen. And I wasn’t wrong. It’s very efficient and has great space for both fridge and freezer areas. Just a little noise when the compressor kicks in but overall, performance is great and very efficient.

Overall, it's a good fridge so far, but there's enough small issues here and there that I would prefer a different brand. We were stuck with GE because we have to have matched appliances and GE is what the new home builder chose. My previous house, we had LG appliances and I much prefer that almost identical fridge. This GE, the doors constantly swing closed on us, the drawers do not have a good slide mechanism, so they kind of grind plastic on plastic when you pull them out. It's the same with the freezer door and sliding freezer drawer. Also, the water filler on the outside is slow. The LG was much faster. We also had it arrive with a huge scratch on one of the door handles (thanks Geek Squad for so handily getting it replaced). And the doors were also crooked, which the Geek Squad tech was nice enough to fix for us. The one thing this fridge does better than the LG is the icemaker. With the LG, the cubes would melt slightly and then refreeze together. We had to open things up and shake them loose probably once a week. I've never had to do that with this GE fridge. Overall, yes it keeps things cold and seems well organized. I just wish a few of the finishing details and the drawer slides were higher quality. Not what I would expect for a $2500 fridge.

I love the color! I got this refrigerator on sale and it was well worth the price. It fits in my kitchen perfectly! We did have to take the doors off to fit it through my hallway door which was 31 inches.

I love my refrigerator! I love the black slate and the freezer at the bottom! The refrigerator doors open wide and it is easy to put things inside! The door compartments could be deeper for larger bottles to fit! Aneta Gardiner

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome, I have owned this for a year now, the space is amazing, fridge works GREAT, I love the doors, ONLY COMPLAINT is the small ice maker, but I knew that when I bought it.

Great Refrigerator, we love it. Weare still learning all features that are offered, but it is performing well, and it looks good.

This is a very nice French Door Refrigerator I love it. The delivery drivers were knowledgeable, and it was an easy delivery.

be aware that if you are replacing a much older fridge, this one is taller by about two inches in the back, hinge height wasn't a problem. We had to adjust the cabinet box and doors, reduced the height by three inches, so the fridge would fit. Not a real problem with the appliance, just check your dimensions three times.

Very nice refrigerator good size, water and ice dispenser work pretty good great design, frizer is very spacious the only thing bad thing about is the difficulty to adjust the temperature it's not very clear where to push to increase or decrease it, and the minimum temperature for the refrigerated side is 34 which feels like is not cold enough sometimes.

Definitely energy efficient and beautiful. However, I wish the door cabinets were the same depth on both sides because the ones on the left are so narrow you can literally only fit items like mustard. Also, I wish I had more options in terms of adjusting shelf height. The amount of slots available create very limited mobility.

Nicely laid out, but...no shelf compartment for butter. Very few adjustments for door bins. Noisy ice (not the ice maker itself but after it drops a big "clunk". Ice bin small and tricky to remove. I had to add a home made spacer to left door peg (where doors come together at top) because peg is too short. Needs more than 1 disappearing shelf.

What I love the most about this fridge is the color. The sz is good but not enough rm to accommodate tall bottles for 2 liter beverages and I'm used to a larger freezer capacity. Excellent product over all. These are just my personal preferences

This fridge fits our need very well. family of four. Lots of room that is well thought out. Looks very nice. The only negative is that it does show more fingerprints than other stainless appliances i have owned but not a huge deal because i have a great stainless cleaner that makes it a snap to clean. Price was very very good as well.

No butter compartment. Nice shelving and drawers. Perfect color to go with our other appliances. Black is rare these days. We like the French Doors and Freezer on the bottom.
