It cools the room well. I wish I bought the next size up. The room would get cooler. The next size up would be more appropriate for my room size. I was worried that it would be too cold so I got one size smaller

I inserted incorrectly twice and the whole unit froze up. Light enough for a middle age woman to take out of window independently, and place in a storage bin util the following season. Comes with a remote control which is handy if your sleeping and it gets too cold or warm, you don't have to get out of bed to adjust the temperature, or shut it off.

My last unit was A 5000 btu I had to set it at 66 to get the room cold enough this 6000 I can't put below 70 or it get way to cold. This will cost alot less per month to use then the 5000 btu it replaced.
