like that is really good cool down the living fast

My house is about 2600 sqft. My ac died with weather in the 90s. I bought this while waiting for a repair part. I have a daylight basement facing east so it only gets the morning sun. The upstairs though was becoming stifling during the day. This little unit in my east facing upstairs window made the difference between feeling faint and just uncomfortably hot. It's no miracle worker of course but I decided to keep it just for such emergencies. It is relatively quiet and I just set it on auto and Eco for the mornings and let the whole house unit take over in the pm. I figure it's less wear and tear on my 29 yr old house unit which just cost me $1000 to repair. Remote is a nice touch since then I'll always have the touchpads on the unit in case the remote goes bad. Light weight made installation easy. I expect to use it from Apr-Oct. Takes the edge off the sun heating up the east side of the house in the am. This is a nice unit and works well for me. I believe I can return it directly to Best Buy if any problems during the warranty period.

Easy to install, works great, cools my bedroom and has the hallway and two additional bedrooms comfortable.

Good little unit for a bedroom wish it got a bit colder but thats a personal preference. remote option is nice for when already laying down

Hooked it up and worked perfectly for what we needed it to do! We placed it into a 180 square ft room and cooled it within 10 minutes! Directions were top notch and it came with everything needed besides tools! Truly recommend this unit if you have a medium room to cool!

We have bought to air conditioners for our large two bedroom apartment. Put one in the living room and one in the master bedroom and with a fan rotating the air it feels great in our whole apartment. Definitely recommend the 6000 btus! And I love the remote control functions.

Pretty good air conditioner it makes a small room pretty cool and has various modes, if you’re looking to get a bigger room colder than get a bigger BTU ac

This unit fits great in the window, it puts out very cold air and so far, even with very hot weather, it has done a great job keeping the rooms it covers very comfortable. I may buy one more for another part of the house because it works so well and is such a good deal.

The air conditioner worked great I just wish it would have cooled off the living room a little better. I like the fact that it had a remote came out everything necessary to put it in the window even the foam for openings.

the model works great!!!!! I would by it again, I would have liked it to be more quiet but will do. Installation was not difficult, the remote could have be label better so while you are in bed, it would be difficult to know what mode you are on without getting up to look at screen on unit ..Nothing bad to say about this unit ...................................................................................................

Small but powerful! Quiet and cooled the room in no time at all!

Nice air conditioner but after only 2 weeks the filter light keeps flashing. Same experience with the same air conditioner in a different room. Very strange because the filter is clean.

Cools my bedroom very nicely. A bit noisy at times but not too much. Nice to have the remote but I wish it had a digital readout.

Good little AC cools my whole one bedroom apartment pretty well considering the size of the unit for the price it was a great deal.

This is one of the best air conditioners that I have purchased. It was easy to put together, I love the settings, and it really cools the room quickly. I bought a total of 5. That is how much I love this "Smart GE" air conditioner.
