The half-shelf is useless to me, I took it out as you can't fit enough items on/under it. Would prefer more shelf & door options for adjusting where they go. Produce and freezer compartments seem flimsy. To turn off ice cube maker you have to reach into the back of freezer and find turn off button, would prefer a button in the door to do this (which I had in a different product). Only bought this GE as the product I really wanted did not come in slate. This refrigerator replaced the side-by-side that builder put in the home.

This is by far the best refrigerator I've ever owned. I liked it so much I bought two, one for my home and another for a rental. The gray finish is sleek, resists fingerprints and doesn't rust like stainless steel. The water inside the door is great, and the ice maker works like a dream-loads of ice. I live in a hot, humid climate, so I love the features. Glass shelves are so easy to clean, and there's space for everything! I had my first one for four years before buying the second, and had not a single problem. Fantastic refrigerator!

The stainless steel french door refrigerator easily replaced our 11 year old refrigerator that had the freezer side by side. It takes some getting used to the change, but overall it has more capacity in the same space. The french doors open easily, are not heavy. They can stay in the open position without your having to hold them open. They also close easily and either door can be opened or closed individually without having to open the other. Some points to think about: -not as easy to see every thing in the freezer because it piles on top of each other in a drawer rather than on shelves -water spout inside prevents messes, especially from children, but more difficult to access and requires you to open the fridge

We have been using our new GE French door refrigerator for about a month, now. We started replacing appliances in our home 2 years ago. We chose slate. I love the color. It's cold and seems to do the job. I like the spacious shelves in the door. I like that you can open either door you choose, without having to open both. Water inside the door takes a little getting used to, but it works well and no extra drip.

This refrigerator replaces a different brand we purchased from Best Buy. Very happy with the GE. Consistent cooling. Like the water not being in the door since this gives us added door bin space. The doors seal well. A little bit louder than the previous brand, but don't mind the slight difference since the performance is greatly improved.

So, I did a tremendous amount of research to find the perfect refrigerator to replace our 2nd refrigerator. We use two in our home. We do not use the water/ice feature in either fridge, as I have a separate ice maker (my baby) and we have Ready Refresh deliver Nestle Pure Life...I know I am spoiled. During Covid, it was difficult to see refrigerators in stores...to touch. I went to Home Depot and Costco...no luck. The day that Best Buy allowed customers by appointment, I jumped on the opportunity...We were shown around by a nice representative, not extremely knowledgeable, but pleasant. I requested to see clearance area, just in case.....I couldn't believe what I found. The exact refrigerator I wanted. The water and Ice aren't in door, it's literally impossible to find a french door without any water and ice...but I had seen this one on all websites....but never been able to touch it....unbelievable deal. Beyond worth it. No damage on fridge at all, no idea why it was in clearance, I paid a quarter of the price and got a 3 year warranty for $89. Ridiculous. I love my new baby!!!

Great Fridge! This is a decided improvement over my new/old Samsung. The old fridge had top be manually defrosted for the ice maker and twin cooling towers for the cool section. I have never had such a terrible unit. This GE is functioning very well and produces more ice than I can use. It is so large we have more space than food. I fully recommend it!

I love this refrigerator! It is roomy with a lot of options for customizing the shelf height. The drawers are clear so finding what you want is easy. The clear bottom drawer would be better if it were a split drawer because you must open both french doors to take anything out of this drawer. The freezer space is roomy but if you don’t have a second freezer in your home you may find it too small. While I like the look of clean lines it would be nice to have the water dispenser on the outside. I didn’t want to have the ice dispenser on the outside because I didn’t want to sacrifice space inside, so this might not be an option just due to design. It maintains great temperatures.

This refrigerator has been great. It has a lot of space that I did not have in my previous refrigerator. By putting the ice maker in the freezer and not in the upper door leaves a lot of space in the fridge. The water inside, on the side is a space saver too. It took a bit for me to get used to it, but it is great.

Great frig! Holds quite a bit: has nice, bright LED lighting inside, a great ice maker and a deli drawer that I like.

This refrigerator is awesome! There is so much room inside for food and for moving items around without having to cram or double-layer. The internal lighting is beyond sufficient. We love having a top fridge/bottom freezer because we can see everything quickly and we don't have to bend down to take food out/put it away. The product quality is excellent, and the design & looks are attractive. The delivery men were very polite and efficient. We are really enjoying this refrigerator!

Hot Springs location did nothing wrong I purchased this refrigerator for the Little Rock Store. Iw as not in stock but they see d delivery date for 2 days later. Before I got home, they moved to 2 weeks. Wishing that 2 weeks they moved it multiple more times. Over 20 texts and over 10 phone calls and they said it would be over 3 months. My refrigerator was out. I hire a company to move a loaner to my condo, haul the old on away ant then went to the Best Buy in Hot Springs, they had my refrigerator in their warehouse. Multil calls to the 800 # and all talk. On the web site, t had a $100 egift card for this refrigerator. Multiple calls, multiple round trips to try to get this resolved. On top of all of that, my home is on the Best Buy support which I pay for annually. Total joke customer service and the 800 support is a bigger joke. No gift card as shown on the web site, multiple promises to reward me for all of my trouble, trips, etc. False advertitising. My last purchase ever at Best Buy!!! They do not appreciate their loyal customers. Good bye!!!

It's a really nice fridge with lots of space. My only issue is the quality of the drawers and shelves, they seem a bit too flimsy. not sturdy enough and am afraid that they will break/crack after extended use. also, the fridge is set to the recommended temperature yet almost all my food freezes inside it.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and was asked how I could be helped. The young man in the refrigerator section was such a delight. He was very helpful and friendly. He got everything figured out for me with no problem. I'm one very satisfied customer.

This refrigerator is perfect for our family. We are not huge freezer family but it is very organized and the ice maker is a very nice addition. The French doors are great however the one side on the left tends to hit the cabinets when we open it as it does swing open on its own once we have it opened. It's a great size and holds alot. Deeper than we have had in the past. It's a great addition to the kitchen.

Picked specifically for the inside water dispenser and freezer drawer ice maker. Love the full storage in the doors. Have not found anything I havent liked.

The slate finish is a beautiful look. Got tired of the stainless steel look with the glossy finish so the color is definitely a big reason to go with this model. I was skeptical about how annoying the door alarm can be but it does not bother me at all. Love that I have lots of room for storage. Highly recommend it if you're looking for a french-door refrigerator.

Great refrigerator!!! Very spacious and a nice white color very different to that of old “gritty” textured refrigerators. Was going to buy stainless but glad we went with the white! Only negative I would say is the beeping when the doors are open for small periods of time but I’m sure it can be adjusted.
