This was the exact fridge I wanted. Other vendors did not have it in stock because of the color. I did not want stainless steel. This fridge has the dual ice maker capability. Everything is very well lit and the two produce drawers are higher up, which my husband loves. It makes it easier to see what is in them. The only thing I do not like about it is on the left side door, the racks are very narrow. Still figuring out things to fit in there. So far the skinny small sesame oil bottles fit, some spice jars. But the right door makes up for it, holding large items, including juice and milk. The color of the front looks like a dark black led and the sides are a darker more matte black. Also on the front ice/water panel, the words " water/ crushed /cubed" dont light up even if you press light. But we have just memorized the settings (for nighttime use)

This refrigerator is everything I hoped it would be! The lighting is excellent, and the set up inside makes it easy to find and retrieve items. My only concern is that the water dispenser drips after getting water and is a bit noisy.

Love the fridge however it's very loud. We can hear fridge running over the TV if volume is low service guys left green plastic pieces sticking out around edges of the rubber lining. Size is great and overall function is good No problems so far!

I love my new GE Refrigerator! The ice maker, beautiful finish and lots of room.

We love the look of our new refrigerator. It has adjustable shelves and will store a tremendous amount of food

All in all its a wonderful fridge. We upgraded from a 17 cu ft. to this massive 27.8 and are mostly pleased with its performance. One thing I love about this fridge compared to others is that you don't lose half a shelf inside the fridge for the ice maker or the water filter. Now onto the negatives: Even after adjusting our doors to the maximum level of adjustment, we were never able to get them perfectly lined up the way they should be. This has caused the shelf on the left door to scratch against the right door when we open just the left door. For a two person family, the ice maker struggles to keep up with our ice consumption on a super hot day. I do wish it made ice a little faster or had a "turbo ice" feature that we could turn on to get more ice. We have to try and create a surplus of ice by dumping excess ice into a bucket in the freezer on cooler days in order to make sure we have enough for the hot days. The bottom of the fridge puts off considerably more heat that I would like. Walking past it, you can feel the heat on your feet which worries me that its going to cause long-term damage to cabinets or floors. All in all, its a good fridge. It had the features we wanted, so we can live with the bad.

I love this fridge. It’s beautiful and matches our cabinets. We replaced a Samsung that the ice maker kept freezing over. I understand where people say it is loud. But I think that is because more and more homes have open concept so the kitchen and living room are together. Otherwise you would never notice

Excellent refrigerator, love the color black slate, goes with my other appliances perfect. Love all the lights inside.

Not impressed with the quailty or finish on this black slate finish. Looks great, but cane with a small scratch on front of freezer area. Also on top outside edge that is noticeable from front view. Bigger issue is once putting items into and on main shelves in fridge seemed like was poorly built. Apon further inspection thrre are 2 screws that hold center main rack support bracket in place. Top screw is stripped out...loose n falling out of top hole...makes shelves loose n sloopy. Poor design for such expensive long term appliance. Will be returning for amount we spent no reason to except in such poor shape.

Very nice. Glad I purchased! Was highly Impressed and a nice addition to the kitchen.

Love it fingerprint resistant and lots of space adjustable shelves is a plus.

Refrigerator is great. The two gentlemen that delivered and set up did a perfect job, polite, efficient, and the best ever. Perfect in every way.

Very spacious and love the layout, the only issue is getting used to the smaller storage of ice in the door but does have the option of an additional ice maker in the freezer.

Their refrigerator has not stop leaking water or ice until we somehow locked the dispenser . we were to get a new dispenser bar within a week. We are now told it will take a month to get the part. Obviously parts are hard to get. It seems that QC is done by the customer.

Love no fingerprints like seen on my stainless steel. Very roomy exactly what we were looking for.

Seems to be built well and so far no issues. Black slate looks great.

The color is actually Grey Slate, and I really love my refrigerator.

I got this fridge delivered on June 30th, 2020. To this day not even 90 days and I’ve called service on it 4 times already! Water leaks and the technician said that’s just how the fridge will work. Drawer for vegetables is broken that part was ordered in August still waiting on the part to this day. Freezer light went out. Now the freezer isn’t freezing. I bought the warranty with Best Buy and after tired of dealing with GE I called Best Buy so they can see all the issues I’ve had...guess what they referred me back to the manufacturer even when I bought the 5 year warranty plan. So now here I am with food that has gone to waste and a fridge that I regret so much buying!

Great size and color, quiet ice maker. Smartly tells you if door is a jar.
