General fit and finish issues. Corner of the door rubs slightly when opening.. Expected higher quality given price and long wait for shipping. I would recommend the trim kit because there aren't any alternative choices.

Good microwave. Looks good!. Dark interior hides food .

Wish I could give zero instead of 1 out of 5 stars. Poor engineering and design and the company knows this. First thing GE did was alter the microwave dimensions when they upgraded the model of microwave I own which I didn't realize when I ordered it to replace my old one that died. It wasn't until I attempted to use the old trim kit that I realized it wouldn't fit. So I was forced to buy the new Trim Kit ($250). The new kit is plastic compared to the previous one which was metal. Bad! Then I realized it doesn't fit the microwave, because the door rubs against the trim kit when opened more than 45°. I went online and found lots of people have a similar complaint but the company refuses to do anything. Bottom line is GE turned this into a profit making scam by altering the old model dimensions to ensure the old trim kit doesn't fit and so customers have to buy a new kit that is cheaply made but costs more than the previous version. As a customer, I feel jaded by GE and will NEVER buy another GE product. I've started converting my appliances to another manufacturer and recommend everyone consider doing the same.

The trim kit is very well designed. It is very solid and well made. I had to install the top plate twice because the center of the plate did not align with the center of the microwave.

I had to get the trim kit for the microwave as the previous cutout was different. I love the trim it makes the microwave pop feel right with the oven below.

It adds value and look but I felt its priced high as the microwave is cheaper that the trim.

Completes the look of the built in cabinitry In our kitchen. Pricey but a must have.

We purchased this trim kit to accompany the GE microwave. The color helps offset the grey color of the microwave and match the built in oven.

Overpriced for a trim kit. Hope it will hold up for a while.

We bought a micro that wasn’t stainless and this trim kit made it blend with the rest of our appliances. Love it!

Looks really nice, but the product took a lot longer to come and was faced multiple resheduled due to Microwave that we purchased along with the trim wasn't available and no one knew why it wasn't available but the rep took care of the issue having contacted him mutiple times.

The hardware to mount the microwave worked well, but the trim piece did not fit properly. The trim piece was a piece of plastic junk, not Stainless Steel, and did not properly cover the opening. Fortunately I had the original Stainless Steel trim frame and was able to adapt it to connect to the new mounting hardware.

Sweet. Looks much nicer than I expected. Would recommend.
