Posted .Oh no, we hate to hear that your microwave is rusting so soon into its lifespan. This is certainly not the experience we want for you and would love to help. To clean rust and other small blemishes from the exterior, we recommend cleaners that contain Oxalic Acid such as Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser will remove rust, tarnish and small blemishes. Use only the liquid cleanser (free of grit) and be sure rub in the direction of the metal grain lines with a damp, soft sponge. Oven cooked Thanksgiving turkey, just right, but ended up with spattered grease in my brand new oven. Well it's broke in now. Hope there's many more years to come. Time will tell. Thanks for prompt delivery. I missed old microwave oven immediately. Thanks again.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After waiting 6 months I finally received my oven. 2 things that bother me is when my meal is cooked the racks swell and you can’t pull them out. The other thing is the beep to late you know when oven reaches temperature is barely audible. Otherwise so far so good.

Talking to friends that had that option, I learned that they seldom use it anyway. The installers arrived on time and were extremely professional, answering any questions and patient with my hovering husband. After three weeks time, we are getting used to the multiple choices and have little to complain about except that the " beeper" on the microwave is so quiet that, even with my hearing aids, I can barely hear it and my husband cannot hear it at all. Other than that, we are happy with our choice. I will probably buy more products from GE in future as our three year old washing machine has given us great service with no problems.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Only 1 year warranty and within 3 years my dial knob stopped functioning that prevents me from setting the clock which is needed before you can use BOTH microwave and oven. It is next to impossible to get a human on the line. And when you schedule an appointment and happen to miss their call they simply will cance the appointment “per GE’s policy”. Poor customer service, terrible design and lackluster warranty. You have been warned.

Good but Not Kid-Friendly

However, we noticed that the vent below the oven door gets pretty hot. The oven that we replaced was a 30-year old GE oven but we didn't have this issue, and we didn't have to worry about our kids walking by the kitchen. And I am surprised too that nobody has mentioned about it yet in any of their review.
