The space-saving design and reasonable price are also appreciated. I love the unit. It is the right size for our space and it fits a good amount of clothes. Not giving 5 starts because it is a bit noisy, but I'm OK with that... just close the laundry room door and it is not that bad.

This appliance is replacing my 20-year old Maytag Neptune stack unit.
PROS: The spin cycle is very quiet and smooth. It also spins out until the clothing has hardly any moisture. Basically no vibration at all. Controls are stupid simple. The wash tub is slightly larger than my Neptune.
CONS: It is harder to load and unload the washer, since it is a top-loader and the dryer portion overhangs the washer. The washer makes a noise during agitation. I'm sure it's normal, but it will take some getting used to. The "precise fill" water level control seems to be be a little shallow. I would like to override the lid safety so i could observe the agitation action. I think it should use more water, since it uses the old-fashioned agitator, rather than tumbling the clothes like the Neptune does. The spin cycle seems to go on and on, but I haven't timed it yet......definitely longer than the Neptune. Also, neither the washer or dryer has an interior light.

The dryer is great... thus far. We've had this since January. It's ok but be prepared to wash EVERYthing on Bulky Mode. Even non bulky things. I'm not overfilling it. I confirmed with repairman and he said to wash everything on Buly mode. Otherwise it won't spin the clothes out and they are sopping wet at the end and then you have to waste even more time setting it to drain & spin. Thus it takes forever to do one load of clothes. Every once in a while, even the bulky mode leaves them sopping wet. It's extremely frustrating.
Also make sure you turn it to off and then straight to buly otherwise it will wash at one of the other modes and then not wring the clothes out. You have to turn it to off and then bulky every single time. so annoying. I miss my old stackable unit that lasted for 21 years and just washed clothes :(

I am thoroughly enjoying my new GE combination washer/dryer! I have had an old set for many many years and decided to replace them with an upgraded set which has a few more features including a larger capacity for more clothes if you choose. It is a lot more quiet; also it washes and wrings the clothes so extremely well! The dryer seems to get the clothes dry much faster! I am very pleased!

I’ve had this washing machine for over a month at least and my kids and I have been very impressed with how well it works and how much it fits! I was a little bit worried with how the angle would be being because the lid doesn’t open all the way, but it’s actually perfect!

Holding up well. Installation was a bit tricky inside my broom closet sized laundry room but the Best Buy deliverymen got the job done. I keep the guide handy as getting the right settings for each job is not a one and done. I have a bad lower back so I much preferred the top loading washer rather than the models that would have required me to squat down to throw the clothes into as well as removing them after each wash.

My new washer/dryer was finally delivered on 8/6 which I thought was too long but I guess it was worth the wait. So far I've been using this machine for about 2 days and its been great. According to other reviews that are posted regarding the noisy sound their W/D made, I actually find my W/D to be less noisy or quieter than my previous W/D. It's easy to use and does a superb job washing/drying my laundry. I would recommend this machine.

This one unit saves space but can hold a lot of clothes. The washer does make some noise, but is easy to load and set. The dryer drys clothes well however it would have been nice to have the door open from the left vs. the right side for us.

Nervous about buying this and after reading reviews on this product, I purchased it.
Washer works well especially in the auto fill water cycle, it’s a bit noisy but it washes clothes really well.
Dryer is nice and spacious.
This machine is being used in a spa where we use this unit from 8 am to 10 pm every day. So far the unit has held up to the demand.

It holds a lot of laundry and washes clean with minimal water usage, thanks to its built-in settings. Switching from an older stackable, this one is much bigger on usable space inside the washer and dryer. Very impressed with this unit.

This machine overall is a good machine. The ordering process was a little messy, the specifications state that it does NOT come with a drain hose (seemed strange) so I contacted customer support to verify. They checked and said it did not come with a drain hose, so I went to Lowe's on my way to pick up the washer at Best Buy, (Best Buy does not sell drain hoses), the washer was not ready to pick up, even though I recieved an email saying it was. I went back the next day and picked it up, the boys there at Best Buy wanted to put it in my truck on it's side because it was so heavy and tall, I told them I had read that it should be transported upright, they said it would be fine, just as they were getting ready to put it in the truck, I noticed stamped on the box in large print, DO NOT PLACE ON SIDE TRANSPORT UPRIGHT. I pointed this out and they then decieded to place it upright, I get home get it out of the box, and I does in fact come with a drain hose! So a trip back to Lowe's to return the drain hose. ( a simple correction to the specifications would resolve this) I get the machine in place and do a load, the washer sounds fine, washes well, dries fast, very happy. 3 loads later on day 3, the washer begins making a strange sound when starting to spin, I contacted Best Buy via chat, about returning the machine and ordering another one just like it,(since it is new, I didn't want to have the Geek squad come out, it takes time and having people in the house right now is not an option. I was getting ready to return the washer and the big snow storm hit, making it impossible to get out, I picked it up on Feb. 3rd, contacted them on the 6th about the problem, I couldn't get out until the 18th, by then the 15 day period had passed. So I guess I will live with the noise until it breaks, then bring it to them for repair, with Covid my wife and I don't want anyone in the house, we are retired and keep to ourselve's until this Covid blow's over. We purchased the 5 year extra warranty. Overall happy with the machine, just wish we could have met the 15 day deadline for return, then we wouldn't have to wonder when it was going to break. It is what it is.

Bigger capacity then my old regular washer and dryer. My clothes are coming out cleaner than before and wrinkle free. Easy to use with many wash and dry options. Takes up a lot less space than my old washer and dryer. Quite while in use. Do wish it had a buzzer, letting you know when the wash and dryer loads where done.
I would recommend this to a friend

It took me a long time to finally bite the bullet and get another washer/dryer combo. I had gotten by without the dryer for many years but with the amount of rainy days, it was time to finally get my old washer/dryer stacked replaced. I settled on this unit because of the size of the dryer barrel. It was nearly standard dryer size. I didn't look much at the washer as I figured a washer is a washer.
The item was delivered (kudos to the delivery guys; they were great) and installed. The dryer was great right from the first. I never realized how much I missed a dryer. The washer, however, was a pain for that first day. It wouldn't advance to the rinse cycle! I finally reset the unit per the manual instructions and it started working.
Now that I've got how to use the washer down pat, I love it. I love both units. The washer doesn't need as much soap to get the clothes clean. The dryer doesn't overdry my clothes. I'm really happy with the purchase. Kudos to the sales person, James, for his help and also kudos again to the delivery crew.

This fits the space perfectly. It’s a little noisy during the first cycle but after that it’s fine. Gets things clean and dry quickly. Does everything that We want
