The gas line runs under the drawer & the rub against each other when sliding the drawer. The guys who installed this range were in a hurry. They said there is a bolt that sticks out under the range that hits the top of the oven. They told me I should have had it measured. But the first thing they did was measure before removing the old cooktop.

I started having problems with the knobs which are very flimsy and break easily. The first time they replaced the knobs freely. The knobs again started breaking or getting stuck in one position which is very dangerous with a gas stove. The service man this time charged a total of $350 for the parts. He recommended we replace the stove. So it is just 2 years and I buy a new stove? I definitely do not recommend GE anymore. Their quality has gone down so much.

Cheap Plastic Knobs

Bigger problem is replacements. There are 20 different companies including GE with 50 different model #'s. There is no where on the cook top that tells you what the model # is. DUMB.
