I purchased this gas cooktop. The technician who installed it was most polite and answered all of my questions. Very pleased with my purchase and the service.

After purchasing one appliance and learning weeks later it was not in inventory and having my order cancelled, I ordered this 30 in GE cooktop, only to learn on the day it was delivered that installation service was not available for it, essentially making it a paperweight. The item return was picked up December 12th and at the time of writing this review I am still waiting for a refund of the purchase price. Here's hoping this review will win me that $400 dollar gift card to compensate me for all of my wasted time and effort!

It was not a high priced item, but it is very nice, works great and does what it should!!

This unit is replacing a 16 year old GE unit that did it's service. The new unit is almost identical except the knobs are much more attractive and the main burner is now on the left side instead of the right. Operationally the cook top preforms flawlessly . Easy to turn on heat distribution is excellent on all four burners. The grates are sturdier and the previous unit and cleanup from a spill was super easy. I am very glad that we chose to remain with the same model as the old one.

The product itself is good, no issues. The issues came with the installation process. We were sold the "premium tier" total tech coverage, which we were told would cover the cost of installation. But when the 3rd party contractor came to do the installation, we were charged an additional S100 surprise fee, which we were not warned about upfront.

Able to regulate heat. Even heat for cooking, depth of well is a deterrent to fat spattering. Easy to clean. Simple design, nice clean appearance.

It cooks everything evenly. Easy to clean and looks good. I am very pleased with it.

Had the stove installed and to date it has been working great. Also like the stainless steel look.

This cook top is forceful and cooks great. I purchased it for my daughter and her family for Christmas. I had several problems getting it installed and the electric cooktop hauled away, but thanks to a couple of calls to customer service, the issues were resolved. Moral of the story....don't buy a major appliance online for a long distance installation.

It is well built and looks very nice. It is not overtly heavy so setting it up was easy as well.

Very nice cooktop. Well build and I have a lot more room than my previous one. Easy to clean.

Very nice cook top. Never had stainless steel before (prior cooktop was glass) and have to get used to not scratching when cleaning the top. As for performance, it easily handled a thanksgiving dinner for over 20 with room for several large pots and pans. Also, need to get used to the different BTUs from each burner, but think that this is ultimately a positive feature.
