It was hard for me to know which trim kit to buy, but the helpful Best Buy people said it would fit and GE support confirmed. We had to (electric) saw away about an inch row of wood from the cabinet area for this “built-in” but would have had to do this for most new models. Vents are around the edge. This was hard to see in the pictures, All good.

My problems wss with wrong unit being order 1st time without trim kit. Waiting for over 40 days for installation date. Also technician had never installed this type of unit before but I had him install it anywhere instead of waiting for another 30 day installation appt.

Additionally, the trim kit came missing a major piece (upper bracket assembly). I tried to find replacement part thru Best Buy and GE help teams. No trim kit pieces were available to replace the bracket. Unbelievable. Best Buy would not replace the kit as it had already been removed from the box, assembled and installed up to the point where we found the upper bracket assembly was missing from the kit. Very dissatisfied with whole experience.
