Posted .For optimal performance place this portable unit 20” from the exterior wall. For all other sides a minimum distance of 30” should be maintained. When on High the dB rating is 56. This not how it is designed to work. Very very noisy. Would not recommend it for a bedroom at night.

Posted .It's possible the Sleep feature or the Timer has been activated on the unit which would cause it to power off. When a Time Delay is programmed, the Timer indicator light will illuminate. For help with these features, please review the 'Controls" section on pg. 4 of the Owner's Manual. Regarding the noise, we would suggest also reviewing an article on our website by searching "Air Conditioner Noise On Start Up". If you find that the noise is not related to the normal sounds. I use the app mainly to check the temp setting remotely. The exhaust tube gets very warm which my cats love. But placement is important and you should have it as close to your exhaust window as possible.
