Just out of warranty and the setting will no longer work. After looking on the GE Website to see if they offer any help I find that many many people have had problems with this unit. Temp is stick on 57 degrees and that is not cool!!

Had a warranty claim and has tech visit 4 times with 2 sets of new parts sent. It’s been a battle with GE over repairs and parts that’s been going for 6 months now. Even went through their consume relations team and it’s been a challenge. Was advised that the 2nd shipment had all the right parts but turns out they were still missing pieces needed to complete the repair.

Note right away that this NOT a mini fridge and there’s a difference between both appliances. The temperature settings will only stay between 41-61 degrees Fahrenheit so keep that in mind when purchasing. Out of the box, I loved that no installation was needed. The door and handles are already installed and the cooler is leveled. Out if the box, you’re mostly just setting this where you’d like, plugging it in and you’re off to the races. You’ll want to set the desired temperature and let the fridge cool before inserting any beverages. The cooler even comes with a suggestion tool to help you hit the desired temperature of a beverage, such as white wines at a colder temperature, while reds can be warmer. For our neighbors out of the US, there’s an option for Celsius settings as well. The shelves are seemingly made out of oak, if not they look just like it and are removable if needed. In the standard shelf layout, this would hold just over 100 12oz cans but will hold more if the shelves are removed. Inside the fridge is the control center to adjust the temperature as needed and then turn the internal light on/off as preferred. My preference is to have the light on as it draws eyes to the device and you’re sure to not only receive compliments from guests but they’ll also be pleased to have the a perfectly cooked beverage upon arrival. Though I haven’t had to yet, with the removable shelves, this should be quite easy to clean. Note as well that the cooler comes with a locking device built in, so keeping the alcohol away from the kids is quite simple. The lock is on the front of the cooler towards the base and with the provided key you can make sure all beverages are held safe until you’re ready for consumption. If needed, the cooler can be manually leveled from the front with ease in case your flooring isn’t level itself. Saving the best for last, this is a gorgeous device that between the stainless steel, wooden shelving, and black exterior looks both timeless as well as modern. The device has no external vent ports which also allows you to store this anywhere whether it’s free standing, on top of something, placed between two other items, or inside a cabinet, it should continue to work perfectly I can’t say enough good things about this. The look, the ease, and the functions are all incredible. This should be an easy purchase for anyone.

The compressor never tried to kick on. We loved the look and the fit.....so hopefully this was a one off.

Lasted a year and half

Was well installed and gently used. Highly disppointed to say the least. Figured id be able to gst quire a few more years out of it.

Non-working GE Wine Cooler
