After 11 months of ownership, the buttons stopped working. Thankfully it came with a 12 month warranty, but GE makes it very annoying for warranty claims. Would not recommend.

Purchased two of these at different times after seeing how it performed. Also purchased the larger model and would recommend that one for larger areas. Variety in operation and simple easy to empty bucket.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.we were excited to get this dehumidifier for our bathroom which does not have any windows and has limited space... the machine is quite loud, can hear it in entire apt (2 bedroom NYC apt) when it's on, but it did a great job taking moisture out of the air and keeping our bathroom (and towels) dry... for about 3 weeks, then it just stopped working, wouldn't turn on... I hope Best Buy and/or GE will be replacing the machine or giving us a full refund...
