Blows WAAAY Too Hot!

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Homelabs dehumidifier I've owned for more than a year, and I recently purchased this GE model when I moved to a larger space. I only ran the GE one a few hours before it was clear that I needed to return it, as it made the room a whole 5 degrees hotter and was struggling to remove moisture from the air. It was essentially a room heater, not a dehumidifier. Meanwhile, the Homelabs running in my other room had no such issue. It is such a shame that the lovely design is wasted on a useless product.

In high humidity situations (~70%) it will produce lots of heat (how it works to create condensation) and fill quickly. Thats the first star off, otherwise it works well in situations where humidity is not so drastic (~50%). My major reason for knocking it is that the quality of the casters is garbage and they do not install well. They need to be pressed super hard or they don't go in, so its really wonky to move. If I needed this long term, I would have returned it immediately, but since this is a short term remedy for a short term problem, I can handle it. Hoping when I don't need it in a few months, I can fix the caster issue and maybe revisit this review. I just don't want to turn it on its side till I have time to work on it (refrigerant system).
