Nice and compact. Easy to set up and easy to run. This little air conditioner packs a punch at its highest setting. It cools off a room in no time. The nice thing about this unit is it's not too loud. Great buy.

This product works great my pc is one the other side of my house from where the router because of this I have some connection issues with the WiFi. So I bought this product and it works extremely well my connection is 20 times better

easy to install or uninstall. Cools efficiently and comes in very handy when your central air conditioning goes on the brink. Easily moved from one room to another. Only downside is that it is somewhat loud.

Works great for making a space cooler but it is SO LOUD! So much so that eventually I get a ringing in my ear sometimes. Using this in my bedroom and it will turn off when it reaches the desired tenp but when it kicks back on it jolts you out of a deep sleep.

Great for a basement. The hose is long enough to reach the window and the air conditioner cools quickly.

Got it for our bed room. Works good, but on the louder side.

A little noisier than expected but like the timer feature

AC compressor blew out, new equipment install Five Days Out in 91 degree temps. Looked online and Home Depot, Walmart had like four portable ACs between them, the rest could be ordered online but delivery not sooner than three to five days. Best Buy had a few but not many. Several listed as in Opened Boxes. I guess here in So Florida, crafty ppl use them while their AC is out and then return the units within the 15 day return period, which is, not really an honest thing to do in my opinion. But its hot. I get it. Just go rent one for the same money from one of those equipment rental places. (Think that is why these stores did not have much stock cuz they know the deal). Anyway, the reviews on this GE were very decent and I took the plunge. Mine was unopened, BTW. Felt expensive at the time, (under 400 before taxes, but....well...) Liked the clean styling and ease of getting everything connected. The only issue which had nothing to do with the unit itself, was that we had awning style windows, and the vent housing /apparatus provided was for sliders. Anyway, being the queen of useful improvisation, I taped together two 13 gallon garbage bags to cover the screened and opened window, then I secure with tape the plastic panel (meant for a sliding window) to the sides of the window frame and then taped the plastic bags to the flat plastic piece which held the exhaust duct (This piece and the duct are very sturdy. The duct snaps out to a generous extension and then can be pushed back together for compact storage). Other than that the entire process was very smooth. Purchased online, drove to Best Buy, walked in for two minutes, told them I was there to pick up the unit, walked to my car and the guy was there with unit ready to load in car, I was out of there in five minutes. Bottom line: plugged it in, set it at 72 and it blew Cold Immediately. Wow, not a gradual thing. Cold. The sound was not annoying at all, but maybe that was because Cold Air was now blowing again. What could possibly be annoying about that? Used it in a small office ( less than 350 sqft) and left the doors open to cool the surrounding areas and left it on 72, medium speed for five days straight. Worked like a charm. Kept looking to remove condensed water from the drain but nothing accumulated really. The filter screens on back are very streamlined and easily removed to clean and snap back into place. Size wise, about like a two story paper shredder. All in all, it's a purchase that will likely not be used often but who knows. Can lend it to family if their AC dumps out. Great Quality Great Purchase. I like not regretting a purchase like this!

This works perfect in my garage. The unit does a much better job than the previous LG I had that was just a little less BTUs. I have a GE profile refrigerator as well. Good reliable brand and product lines.

Excellent product. Been using it for past 3 years. Works well and keep my 650sq ft. Apartment cool and comfortable. Comparably quite and never stressed my electricity bills.

Love this cooler! Our neighborhood tends to get in the 100s in the summer, I would never know with this cooler.

So far this air conditioner works great, even in the extreme Texas heat we have had this year. We bought it for our mini lofted barn which is 12’x16’ and it keeps it comfortable.

This is the great little air conditioner that can! We have had an uncharacteristic heat wave in Portland, OR - even reaching 116 degrees outside. With no AC we needed something to at least keep one room cool. Well this portable AC unit kept 408 sq ft (living/dining and kitchen combined) at the perfect temp. It is super easy to set up, easy to turn on and set to your desired temperature and it works immediately. This is perhaps one of the return on investment we have purchased. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. It is quiet, efficient and does the job. We did not see any spike in our electric bill either. This is a great unit and a great buy.
