It's ok at best

It randomly acts as if it is only the fan when it is set on cool. We've checked the filter and cleaned the unit and still not very cool.

Posted .We can understand how important it is to have a good working air conditioner. We would like to offer some tips and troubleshooting. It is important to consider the temperature of the room when the air conditioner was first turned on. If the room was very hot, it will take longer to cool the room. When heat is stored up in walls, furniture, rugs and draperies, it will take longer to cool the room down. Whenever possible, turn the air conditioner on before the room heats up. Also, if you live in an area where daytime temperatures can reach 120°F outside, make sure the room air conditioner is sized properly. In extremely high temperatures such as this, a room air conditioner will improve indoor air temperatures approximately 15 to 20 degrees. If you continue to have issues, please take advantage of your warranty on page 17 in your manual. The manual can be found on our GE Appliances site and on Best Buys site. Joyce@GEAppliances

GE once was King

Worked just as long to be unavailable for return. All of a sudden after cooling just fine now the unit is having freeze issues like there is a blockage and there’s not a blockage so the other reason is they didn’t put enough Freon or there’s been a leak. The line that freezes is marked with a blue marker like it was a faulty line. So $220 bucks down the drain. Was Expecting the old power house GE. I was wrong!

No just No

It spits, sprays, drips and leaks water inside. I changed the setup location and it is no different. A few days ago, the temp display just kind of freaked out. It turned on and off and on and off. It made some crazy sounds and then no matter what, it just kept raising the temp to 88. You could lower it and then watch it go all the way back to 88 again. Super strange. No air comes out of this machine anymore. I just contacted support but it has past my return availability timeline. This machine must be defective. I had it less than 2 months. Its under manufacture warranty but they are not open today. I have a heart problem and its really hard to breath in hot weather so this kind of sucks.

BUYER BEWARE WASTE OF MONEY

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.APPEARS TO BE GOOD QUALITY UNIT BUT ONLY LASTED 14 MONTHS IN CONNECTICUT WHICH I ONLY USE IT FOR A FEW MONTHS OUT OF THE YEAR :( UNIT JUST STOPPED COOLING, UPON TAKING THE BACK COVER OFF NOTICED A CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT OF RUST AT THE BOTTOM REAR OF THE UNIT. I FOLLOWED THE MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS TO KEEP THE DRAIN PLUG IN PLACE FOR BETTER EFFICIENCY. SHAME ON YOU GE. I FEEL I WAS RIPPED OFF AND I COULDN'T EVEN FIND REPLACEMENT PARTS ONLINE FOR THIS MODEL

HELP!!!

HELP!!!!!

Bad customer service

I had to return the AC due to malfunction, I went to store they said that I could not return it. They told me that I would have reach out to the manufacturer although I was still in the time frame.Some of were very unpleasant so I had to go to another store 40 miles away to return it . Although that store was far from me the associate was very kind. I won't suggest the Leominster store to nobody.

They don't last

Consider another unit

It bubbles up and does not stay smooth on the front of unit. It spits water, daily. We have to empty it at least twice a day.

A real bad purchase

Posted .We would like to assist you with the sound level of your air conditioner. We recommend checking that the front grille is in good condition, the air filter is clean, and the unit is installed properly. Remove the grille and inspect it to confirm it is not damaged. If it is not broken, reinstall the grille.
Make sure to check and clean the air filter, and remove any debris or dirt from the exterior of the air conditioner. You can clean the air filter by following the instructions on page 7 of the owner's manual here: https://files.bbystatic.com/3178Pa6C7oSUp3NM3Wd4gw%3D%3D/User%2BManual
Additionally, you can find installation information starting on page 8 and information on reducing the sound level of the unit on page 14 of said owner's manual.

Bad product.

It already stopped working
