I chose this model after reading its qualifications and customer opinions, and I am happy to have it. It is terrific and cools my small one-bedroom apartment. The Autio and Eco system works well, so I am comfortable without manually turning my AC on and off. I highly recommend this product!

There’s poor drainage and the unit starts to rattle after it’s rained, prompting me to take it out of the window and dump all the water out. A heavy hasstle, to say the least. Other than that, the unit works great. Eco mode is a bit annoying, as the unit always defaults to that. But it does cool my livingroom down quite well!

Posted .We're happy to assist you. You may be hearing the sound of the slinger ring picking up moisture from the base pan and throwing it against the hot condenser coil. This may happen due to the several consecutive hot and humid days or after it rains. This design feature helps remove moisture and improve efficiency. Rather than removing the air conditioner, remove the plug which can be found on the underside of the case .While this plug may be removed during operation to minimize water in the back of the unit; removing it will lower the efficiency of your unit. Additional information is available in the online Owner's Manual. Click on the Features tab and then scroll to the end of the Features List. There's you'll find a link to the manual.
