Worth every penny! Perfect size for a bedroom! Our room is like a frozen oasis!

Best AC works with remote and with phone app so you can turn it on before you get home. My home be ice cold in the summer.

This unit was a life saver! when our home A/C went down, we used this unit too cool down our living room/dining room combo “ roughly 400 ft.² “ and with the addition of a box fan it cool the room to any temp we asked it too , I would highly recommend this unit, now that the new home AC has been installed plans to move this to the workshop, finally ac in the shed/workshop

8000 BTU's is a nice size that not many other manufacturers are doing. But the poor articulation on the output vents is a bummer on a top brand, energy star, WiFi enabled A/C. No matter where I set the vents, cool air always favors the right side of the unit. Much quieter than my old AC! The IOS app needs work, but overall I am happy with it.

So far it's working really well. It takes about half an hour to really get the room cool. But we have a big living room. It's bigger then the room size for the box. But I live in a very old farmhouse with little windows. This window ac is the biggest one we can get that will fit. That being said. It still cools down the living room pretty fast, all things considering. We are very happy with it.

We replaced a 6k unit with this 8k one and it is amazing! very cold and quite!

It's lousy at keeping a consistent temperature. It stays on too long and overshoots the target temp, then stays off too long, and it gets too warm in the room. And often it just won't cool again until I power cycle it. At night I have to turn in off and on again at least twice in a night because it just won't start cooling if it's cool outside. The unit's interface turns off even if the unit is on, so you can't tell whether it's on or off if the fan isn't blowing. The GE app is terrible and does nothing (you can't change any controls on the AC with the app, though you are supposed to be able to). The remote is incredibly cheap and flimsy. I should have returned this device while I had the chance. Very disappointed in this AC; big step-down in functionality from my previous Fridgidaire AC. I only gave it two stars because it cools well, and is relatively quiet.
