A+ A/C for the $

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit because my bedroom windows are more narrow then a typical window and the LGs minimum width was much smaller then any of its competitors A/C’s with even close to the BTU power of it. To my suprise not only was it the best “bang for my buck” it also has tons of cool features to include being able to control it through your smartphonee from anywhere.

Works with HomeKit

Not too many HomeKit window air conditioner options out there. Works in HomeKit or the SmartHQ app but I can’t get it to work in both at the same time for some reason. Like that the app provides real time electricity usage and filter condition status.

Works fine, but makes a slight high pitch sound.

It emmits a slight high pitch whistle. Also, it only displays the temperature you set it to, not the actual current temperature, I found that very odd. It feels like it over-cools the room and then let's the temperature warm up too much before over-cooling it again. So it doesn't really maintain a consistent temperature but this is technically a "cheap" AC so I guess that's normal. Other than that, it works fine and looks clean. Easy to install and comes with white foam boards to cover the side skirts which makes it look nice.

Quality unit for a great price

I really like being able to control it via the app using WiFi. Manual refers to foam panels to put over side curtains. There were none in box. Found some online that worked.
