This window unit does a good job and it had a great price.

Great unit. This is my second summer with it and it’s still brand new. Use it every single day. Barely turn it off. I make sure the filter is clean and it runs and cools my whole apartment. Would definitely buy this!!

I’ve only had this air conditioner for a few weeks so not much I can say. It is a small room approximately 15 x 15 and gets very cold. It’s pretty quiet but has some noise obviously and I kind of like that because it helps drown out my wife snoring. I don’t wanna say cheap quality but the front cover is plastic and seems a little cheap. But otherwise it works great and it looks good.

This works very well, and cools two rooms within 7 minutes (yep, I timed it). My only complaint is it’s a loud machine. I have it set up in a window next to my WFH area. It’s too loud to concentrate on work when it’s in, so I’m cycling it off and on.

It's lousy at keeping a consistent temperature. It stays on too long and overshoots the target temp, then stays off too long, and it gets too warm in the room. And often it just won't cool again until I power cycle it. At night I have to turn in off and on again at least twice in a night because it just won't start cooling if it's cool outside. The unit's interface turns off even if the unit is on, so you can't tell whether it's on or off if the fan isn't blowing. The GE app is terrible and does nothing (you can't change any controls on the AC with the app, though you are supposed to be able to). The remote is incredibly cheap and flimsy. I should have returned this device while I had the chance. Very disappointed in this AC; big step-down in functionality from my previous Fridgidaire AC. I only gave it two stars because it cools well, and is relatively quiet.

I have gotten great value from GE Window Air Conditioners. I price shop for everything so that was the driving force behind my purchase. I had already purchased another GE unit that is giving me great service so I obtained this unit. It works great and does the job in our southern summer heat extremes. The remote is a nice plus. I haven't set up the WiFi feature as of yet but I intend to! I love technology so that is a great feature for me!

Nice product, quiet operation, not so easy to use without the remote, but otherwise no complaints. Easy installation. This may sound trivial, but is very important for safe installation, the power cord is actually long enough to use without an extension!
