Also the temperature varies quite a bit. I think the thermostat has about a 4 degree hysteresis. I have it set to 71 or 72 and it reports the temp as 74 but does not turn on the compressor. Lowering the setpoint a degree or 2 turns it on immediately. The same happens in the opposite direction. It can stay on in cooling mode till it gets down to 67/68 based on its display before shutting off the compressor.
