The one thing I want to complain about is they put the network name and password on the side of the unit, where you can't see it when the unit is installed. So you rush to install it to cool off and then try to connect to your smart phone. Well stop everything. You have to move the unit out of the window and get that information. What a dirty trick!

Would think that G. E. Would be better at 8,000 btu's but doesn't fit what I expected.

Noisy business.

Eco mode didn’t work great if left in to long. The reason for 3 stars is it is really noisy. So noisy that sleeping with it on is hard.

It get the room cold and the remote is very convenient. Definitely get the geek Squad protection plan though because mine had broken within 1 year. But best buy was able to replace it for me.
