Easy to use. Very efficient at cooling room. The app is also easy to use on my iPhone. I really like that the app allows u to keep an eye on how much electricity the ac uses per day. Also syncs easy with Alexa echo .

Firstly, loved the simple installation! I didn’t even need the instruction manual (granted this isn’t my first window unit). The only thing that might have you checking the manual is the bracket install which is two quick screws so your window will slide into the bracket and keep your unit snug and airtight. The side panels have brackets built in, just slide the aprons in from top down and open them to close the gaps on left/right of unit. I love the remote, auto and eco modes. Saved a ton on my utilities. Highly recommend.

Don’t underestimate the power of a “smart” air conditioner. This unit kept us very cool and kept it effortless to maintain with integration to an app and with Amazon Alexa. Never fiddle with remote controls again; we’re in the future already. It cooled a medium to large room that extends out into two hallways perfectly and quickly (within 15 minutes, you’d be comfortable). It was decent on energy and maintainability was especially great because it gave me reminders on the app to clean the filter)

Years back, this company was scorned for its consumer products as being the producer of kitchen toasters that failed. Not today. Microwaves? Great!!! Or in this case, A/Cs? Wonderful. It is easy to use, easier than you might think to install, and, best of all it is QUIET!!!.

Gets so cold so quick. Almost wish I got something smaller because it almost instantly gets freezing cold in my room when I turn it on. Love having the option to use a roommate or the app for when I’m really tired and am just too lazy to get up to turn it off/on. The app has a great feature to schedule times it turns off/on which is great for me in the morning so I can have it turn off before I have to get up for work. Hate getting out of bed in the cold!

Excellent cooling capacity, relatively quiet, and nice remote as well. Solid construction and happy that there are no lights on the air conditioner when it is running. Lights and indicators come on only when using the remote to change settings. Nice!!

Love this AC unit. Great for my 400 square foot apartment with 12 foot ceilings. The wifi component of this unit is amazing. The ability to turn the unit on when you leave work, to return home to a cool apartment is an amazing feature when living in the city during the summer. It’s a bit pricey but definitely worth it. Installation is very straightforward, comes with weather strips which is a nice add.

solid replacement for old Kenmore unit: quite operation, multiple cooling setting including sleep and eco; worked very well in hot humid weather to make living space comfortable. Lighter and easire to install than old unit is a bonus. Have not bothered with the wi fi connectivity.

i am impressed with this air con. it really cools most of my entire apt. the remote comes in handy since i am disabled and it takes so long to get out of this lift chair. was a very impressive price compared to home depot. i am very satisfied!

This is an awesome air conditioner. We had an 8000 btu unit before this that was so loud when it was on. The old unit also used much more electricity than the new one. I woukd have to say the benefit of this unit is that it cools the room much quicker. It runs much more quiet than all the other ac units weve had in the past. The big benefit of this unit though is the wifi connection. On the hot days whem our doggie is home Nd the apartment starts to heat up we set a timer to tuen the unit on and then we use the app and the wifi to make sure it stays on. We have sometimes power outtages that literally only last a miute or two on really hot days and the comfort of knowing i can juat check my phone and make sure the unit is still on is amazing. And if its not the app will allow me to turn it right back on. Cool thing too is if we are all returning home on a sweaktering day. I can turn it on while we're driving home and then we'll walk into a nice cool apartment uopn arriving home

It is a quiet well functioning unit. It was easily installed and cools my living room at 73 degrees. There is one drawback. Yesterday, when a tropical storm hit New York City, there were torrential rains. The air conditioner was on and water began pouring out through the vents.

Bought one 2 years ago. It was very good. Quiet enough in the bedroom, easy to install and the wifi feature works well with the Connect app. Then came the 90 degree weekend last weekend and the AC froze. Figured not worth trying to get repaired so just bought another one yesterday. Seems like they have made some minor changes to the face of the unit and could be my imagination but seems maybe even a bit quieter than the first one. Could be they made some internal tweaks so what happened to the first one won't happen to this one. Hopefully we'll get more than 2 years out of this one.

I'm very happy with this air conditioner. It cools the living room of my small NYC apartment, and with the help of a fan, it cools the bedroom enough that it is comfortable to sleep in (having a second unit there makes it too cold). This AC was a replacement for one purchased in 2005 which broke this summer. I should have replaced the old one sooner. This is much quieter (I can actually watch TV or talk on the phone while it is running), and it turns on/off to reach the desired temperature. In other words, it doens't just run constantly as my old one did. I haven't used the WiFi feature, but I set it up and it's there if I need it. So far, not problems at all; hope it lasts for a number of years.

Great A/C Unit for a Quiet and Quick Cool Down! Easy to install and very efficient for cooling a small space quickly. About 1/2 hour to install properly with all supplied parts, foam, etc. Unit is very quiet and keeps the area cool several days in 90+ degrees.

Great window air conditioner that cools very fast in my bedroom. Easy to clean filter and easy to install. I also like that the remote is simple and straightforward too. Very happy with my purchase.

This is a descent AC unit. Small, light, easy to install and works great. Zero issues using Wi-Fi, the app or Alexa. Only issues were the side curtains are made like crap. One of them broke when first installing. Other issue is it leaks very tiny drops in the front of the AC on the inside throughout the day. I even called GE and they said it's normal if it's humid outside. Not crazy about this. GE customer service is excellent by the way, based in Tennessee. Best Buy should take note since their's is atrocious based in India.

This air conditioner only took about 10 minutes to start cooling off the whole room. It was very easy to put together. It has a remote , and it also has the Wi-Fi so you can control from your phone, like a timer. This is the best air conditioner that I have ever seen.

Strsightforward setup and use. Syncing with wifi took 2 tries but simple when its done. Quiet compared to others weve had in the past snd fhis unit Cools Down the Room!!! Highly recommend

This air conditioner is a dream. The cool setting cools our huge living room in no time on high and I normally have to shut it off completely after it cools off the room or switch it to fan. So far we have had it a month with no issues and I love the eco setting as well. Super cold. Love it!

Easy installation and cools perfectly. AC noise level is up there around a “7”but window AC’s are not known for being very quite. This one for us is tolerable. Better a cool room with some noise opposed to a Hot one without. We would have given a 5 star for all levels but We haven’t set up the WIFI so we cant give a review. Overall were very satisfied with this AC. We’ve used it for a month so far and no problems...it seems to be of Great quality and Value...we would highly recommend this GE 8,000 BTU /Smart window AC.
