Previously I had a 6,000 BTU and my room was always warm. My room is 14x14. This new AC made my room so cold so fast within 20 to 30 minutes. No complaints so far.

I get a constant warning that I need to update the AC software but I cannot update it. Otherwise as a basic AC it works as expected.

Paid someone to install it just to find out if defective…come on people, my apt is like an oven . I paid 315 with tax and it’s defective… all the settings is the same …low fan …it does not change temperature at all . Jus low fan air . Smh

Works great. Install was a little bit trickier than my old air conditioner; we needed to add an extra board to the windowsill so it didn't fall too far backwards. But overall good value for the price.

Have not set up the wifi feature yet so cannot give fair review on that topic. Overall, it functions as it is supposed to. Was very easy to install.

No real choice as the on-line experience is less than desirable. Time will tell if GE is an OK product.

When installed properly, this unit should be able to run as long as necessary to maintain your set temperature. If you're finding the unit is not functioning in that manner you may want to consider taking advantage of your warranty coverage. The details can be found on Page 17 of your owner's manual.
