Has a built in thermostat.

It has an energy-saving feature and works well. However, it is noisy. Since I live in an urban environment, that is sometimes an advantage.

Nowhere on any account does the name SmartHQ come up. That being said, the app (that's called "Comfort - GE Appliances") has 2 stars on the Play Store, but I've had no issue other than maybe a slow setup. Your account is on a site seemingly titled WIFI CONNECT, at brillion.geappliances.com. if you're confused, me too. There is no naming consistency.

We do apologize that it runs loudly, though. This unit's decibel rating is 57/62 dBA, which should be equivalent to the sound of a normal conversation or a dishwasher running. There's a list of normal operating sounds on page 13 of the owner's manual (linked on our website) that you may find helpful. Also, sometimes improper installation can cause excess noise - we recommend reviewing the installation instructions on pages 8 through 12 of the owner's manual. We hope this is helpful! I am surprised it is not more widely advertised. I am pleased to report that integration is seamless and works as expected with the Homekit app and my Apple Homepod.

It's in my bedroom so I love that it basically has a dark mode where turns it's indicator lights off. Would definitely recommend anybody who wants to stay cool and keep it pitch black at night.

Posted .Hi there, we're glad your air conditioner is cooling well, but sorry to see the remote isn't working. We know how annoying this must be and we're happy to provide troubleshooting tips. We suggest the following: 1) To ensure proper operation, aim the remote control at the signal receiver on the air conditioner. 2) Make sure nothing is between the air conditioner and the remote control that could block the signal. 3) Make sure batteries are fresh and installed correctly as indicated on the remote control. Not the best AC

The AC Stopped working after 1 year & a half of having it, it would turn on and turn off. The first year I put the wifi & everything worked fine, next summer I tried to connect the wifi & it never worked. So I rather get an AC that isn’t wifi operated.

Modern look of the air conditioner makes it easy to look at. I appreciated the metal security tabs as well. The smart features on this unit is a big bonus, who wouldn't like to control their ac unit while they're not even home.
