I bought this for my server room after my air conditioner in there blew out and I am not sure if I can get a guy to fix it right now during this pandemic. The machine works well, you can schedule it, it's really quite quiet it just sounds like a fan but with a rumble or hum. Imagine a hotel air conditioner unit. Installation honestly was kinda difficult considering how widespread these units are! But I think they're all about the same so I'm not about to fault GE for that. After installing it I secured everything with extra foam I bought (It comes with a fair bit though but I recommend more can never have too much) and lots of gorilla tape. The smart features are pretty good, definitely a solid 7/10, I have an Emerson smart thermostat for my central heating/cooling and that has fantastic integration and this GE is pretty good, but it could be better. All in all, this is a really good unit though. I'm really satisfied with it and can't find any true negatives without being nitpicky. I'm glad I paid a hair more and got a smart unit, I feel this thing is future proof for some time and it's nice to check the temperature for this room from my Alexa in the other room or on the app, as I don't commonly go in my server room and hang out lol, but wanna make sure nothing is boiling ya know?

Easy to install, efficient, not too loud. Wifi needs updating, hard to sync with phone.

This is a great unit. Even with the extreme heat here Best Buy had units in stock. This A/C was very easy to install. The app was easy to understand and use. It literally took me 15 minutes to get it in the window, the window all sealed up with the provided insulation and running. It cools very well and the eco feature is great. I had an off brand that didn't last. Glad I bought a GE this time.

Easy to set up, though I wish the install hardware was a little more robust. WiFi and app work great and it effectively cooled a large area bedroom.

Cooling works well, quiet. But.. setting up the WIFI is a hassle. Need to do it numerous times before it finally works.

Awesome little unit. cools down my workshop well. love the Wi-Fi option. I am able to turn it on and off before I get out to the workshop.

After moving into my new place and realize we had no central air, I realize it might be a little too hot for my liking. Saw this unit at an AMAZING price and before I knew it I had picked it up and started installing it into my window. Now I get to brag to my roommates how I get to live in lavish with my air conditioned room. I recommended it to them, and to anyone else who needs an easy to install and fair priced unit!

Low cost use, keeps me cool and is quiet. Remote is very useful

Not too loud and very good cooling. Instructions are OK, and connections to the wall / window are simple. Having the app is great, so it can be turned on / off from anywhere

Purchased this during the heat of the summer. Keeps my room good and cold. Love the remote feature. Quiet and Cool. Would purchase another in the future if necessary. I recommend this product.

Cools the room in seconds very small and easy to set up and it does save energy

I bought this unit due to my old A/C coolant was no more. This was the day when a heat wave hit were I live and needed one asap. Bought this unit due to having in stock at the store since delivery would take 4 days. Went to pick it up and installed it. I had no issues and cooled my large bedroom with ease. I like that you can hook it up to your wifi as well and use an app to control certain things and monitor your energy usage.

I bought a small lake cottage and needed a small A/C to cool the bedroom. The price was right. It is doing a good job, runs quietly and the eco setting is great.

I was leery about purchasing a GE AC unit. Once installed I was totally satisfied. To me it is a low noise unit. It is working beautifully in this extreme heat (3 digit and extremely high heat index) we are experiencing in Tulsa, Oklahoma. So it has to work hard right now. I love the functions and the remote control. I would highly recommend this unit.

Great A/C unit, especially for the price. Super cools a room of 300 sq ft in about 15 mins. Relatively quiet and the ECO feature works very well Recommend as a supplemental unit to a portable unit in a large room (we have 400 sq ft open room and it works great with the portable on the other side of the room) or for a mid-size room on its own

I love this unit! The cooling is excellent, it is incredibly quiet, and the remote is a great accessory.

Love this air conditioner. It is more compact than other 8000 BTU units I have owned. It is not very heavy on the outside part, so there is no need for an external support. The Wi-Fi works great. I can turn it on even if I’m not at home. I like that the filter removes straight out from the front and not pulling out from the top therefore dragging it across the air that is blowing out. I don’t need to turn it off in order to clean the filter.
