Our last glass top was great but had burner controls on the side which stood up. They were a pain to clean around. This stove top has all controls under the glass so it is much easier to clean. The best feature is the lock which allows you to clean or put things on top of the burners without the fear of turning them on. Great feature!

I hope I have as good luck with this one as I did with the first.

My 1 complaint is that it is a bit difficult to clean. When things boil over or splash they are very difficult to clean off.
