I have never given a bad review for any purchase I have made. This is an exception. I have had this washer less than a week and now needs a major repair. I am so frustrated the washer is leaking oil. I had to have GE Send someone to look at it. The gear is leaking oil My options are to call Best Buy to see what my options are in returning it or wait over 1 weeks for the part to come in. Save yourself the headache!!

Good Unit for the price...

It’s was easy to schedule the installation and the units require a few extra parts to be purchased for installing this. Once installed they were immediately ready to use. Haven’t had any issues with the washer, but the dryer did have an issue a few weeks later after purchase to where I had to contact GE to setup a repair. Luckily it was covered in the warranty but it was unfortunate that it happened so early.

My wife had some concerns with trying to wash bath mats. This was easy with our old washer but this one kept stopping and having to restart. Seems to be due to some "smart" feature trying to prevent damage, but the end result is something that was simple with the old washer became a task we had to figure out with this new one. You just want stuff to work, you don't want to have to read tons of posts and watch youtube videos to figure out what's going on. The real reason for only 2 stars is the delivery/installation. Somehow awful delivery has become the new normal. They mixed up the hot and cold hoses. They didn't balance the feet under the washer so when we tried using it, it would "walk" away. So after having paid for delivery, I had to switch the hoses myself. Not having the correct wrench for the job, I had to go out and purchase one. Then I had to lay down on the basement floor to adjust the feet. This took a lot of time (one was easy, one was stuck) and the whole time I'm wondering, why did I pay Best Buy for installation? When was the last time I gave such awful service to a customer? Oh that's right, never, because I'd be out of a job if I did that.

Glad to see the old agitators are coming back. She loves it and says it does the job and then some. Great size!
