Washes ok, but loud!

It is in my basement and we can year the banging of the spin cycle on the second floor. That is our only complaint, but it is something we will have to get used to. Really loud.

Great basic washer

It does have some balance issues when washing bulky items, and also seems to leave everything super wrinkly, but it does a great job getting the clothes clean and nearly dry from the wrinkly spin cycle. Plenty of options for water temp and clothing type.

It still runs like it did with the first load of clothes. I can fit fairly large blankets in it as well without it getting off balance.

This model, GTW335, is not the washer I reviewed and ultimately decided on. I wanted GTW330. I don't know if the 330 wasn't available and the Best Buy salesman didn't let me know, but 335 is what he ordered for me. (It was his first day back on the job after being furloughed because of the pandemic.) This washer gets off balance very easily, which is why I have to "babysit" every load. The first time it happened I thought the tub was going to come through the front of the washer! I have started to pause the washer and rearrange the clothes before the lid is locked to prevent it from getting off balance when it spins. Re spinning: it spins for 15 minutes! I needed to replace a 20-year-old Maytag dryer, so I decided to replace the 22-year-old Maytag washer also. Neither one had ever been serviced. I should have kept the Maytag washer until it quit! The Maytag washer would stop automatically when it got off balance.
