Good choice

Reliable GE Washer

This washer has proven to be very affordable and reliable, which is why we have purchased a second one.

I was scheduled, for in-home installation, before Best Buy transitioned to "curb side" delivery. Totally understood, when Best Buy cancelled my delivery 2 days before the appointment. Moreover, Best Buy failed on their promise to get back to me. After receiving the bill, and losing 2 weeks, I contacted them for curb side delivery.

Loud, sounded like an animal crying when it was agitating and washing. It could be heard all over the house, even with the laundry room door closed! The spin cycle was dreadful as it was always out of balance, and traveled across the floor. Yes, it was leveled. No heavy loads at all, single senior here. On a good note, the supervisor at the store where I purchased the machine, Paul, in Wesley Chapel, Florida, was so considerate and knowledgeable. We talked about other options in my price point, and I traded that piece of junk in for a Maytag that was on sale.

Purchased for elderly mom

She says it is easy to use, and she loves the features, that surpassed the old washing machine. She likes the small load feature the best since she doesn't always have a lot of laundry to do. She says it is relatively quite, and doesn't "walk across the floor" like her old one did.
