Started having problems with this machine after 26 days. I thought Ok, I purchased the 3-year protection plan, so I called Geek Squad and was given a first available repair appointment in 8 days. Don't like the turnaround time? I was calmly told there's always GE support and/or warranty. You'll need to find the serial number to get support from Geek Squad repair center. Just proving you purchased the product is not enough.

Great while it lasted. Broke after 5 weeks - wrong water level, wrong water temperature, and stuck on soak. Clearly a lemon but best buy wouldn't accept the unit back since greater than 15 days and GE couldn't come out to service for 2 weeks (I'm still waiting). Last time I buy from best buy or a GE appliance.

Great value. GE is titan of the industry for a reason. This model may not have all the bells and whistles, but it is solid. Coming from a Maytag that broke down after only 4 YEARS, this will be a welcome machine.

The first time I put a heavy blanket in to wash, the new washer did exactly as my old washer. It left the blanket too wet to put In the dryer. The reason for buying a new washer was to be able to wash blankets without having to take them to the laundromat. I drove to Best Buy where I had purchased the washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and new television. I spoke to a gentleman in Customer Service. The following Monday a repairman was to come look at the machine. I stayed home waiting for the repairman. I checked my computer for information and the work order had been cancelled.

Washer makes terrible noise on the agitation cycle. Since there is no GE service person in the area, there is no one to come out to take a look at it. GE is willing to refund my money. I do not have any way to transport another machine in, if they come to pick it up. So, what do I do now?
