Thank God I purchased a 5-y warranty for this dryer and the matching washer because I get issues with both all the time! I used the repair warranty at least 4 times already and calling them today again! Last time, they had to completely repair some part inside the dryer, this time, it makes a horrible shrieking sound and it also won't starts as it says the door is open while it's shut. I consider this product to be garbage and wasted money. Never had any issues with my other LG set that I own for about 10 years!!!! Not even ONE issue! While this one always creates a problem!

We should have looked up the reviews earlier, but we needed a dryer that would fit in our laundry room and allow us to close the door to that room.

I bought my new-born baby boy a noise-cancelling headphone because of this. However he needs to wear the headphone for at least an hour or two, which makes him uncomfortable. I also got myself a pair of ear plugs. This is very inconvenience to my family because we can't watch TV with the ear plugs on. I wish to know if there's any sound isolation pads will help, or I will return this dryer soon.
