We’ve been extremely happy with this top-load washer. It’s powerful, easy to use, and handles everything our family throws at it. The capacity is generous, and even bulky loads come out clean without excessive water or cycle times. The controls are intuitive, and the machine feels solid and well-built. The standout feature for our household is the sanitation mode. With kids, messes are inevitable, and this setting has been a game-changer. My wife especially loves the peace of mind it brings—knowing that clothes, towels, and bedding are getting a deep, hygienic clean beyond a standard wash. This GE washing machine cleans my laundry very well compared to my old washing machine and it is very quiet. It is easy to use and the quality is outstanding! It even plays a cute tune before the machine starts washing. It is very efficient and uses just the right amount of water. I can’t say enough good things about this washing machine! I am so happy with this purchase. I hope it will last a long time. GE you’ve knocked this one out of the park!

Works very well. Wasn’t too expensive and it is very reliable. Delivery was quick and easy without making like to difficult. A smaller delivery window wouldn’t been great!

I've had this washing machine for about a month. It provides sufficient performance at washing clothing. However, the 3-star rating results from its deficiencies. The washer vibrates significantly during the spin cycle. I had a service tech visit after the installation to level the unit, but it still vibrates a lot. I can feel the vibration quite a bit in my concrete floor. The washer also makes a series of noises when going through its cycles. They are not overtly disturbing but are certainly noticeable if you prefer a quiet home. On the positive side, the controls are intuitive, and the wash basin is quite large at 4.5 CF. I purchased it on sale, so the pricing was reasonable, but I would have been greatly underwhelmed if I had purchased it at full-price. I would not recommend this washer because its deficiencies are quite significant for me. For those who are not affected by them (e.g., washer is located in the garage or basement), then it's probably a good option. Overall, it does the job but is not ideal.

I love the style of this washer with the black added to wash low is makes it look elegant. The capacity for a wash load is very large and it does not bring off a loud sound when washing.

Simple and easy to use. Have had no problems even when I did 6 washes back to back. Loudest noise was just a hum.

i had walked in to bestbuy to see and to my surprise I was approved with progressive leasing. and took home a wsher and dryer (had deliverd) I've had them for 4 week's couldn't be happer with my purchase.lookin forward to my next purchase

Seems to work as it should but it is very loud! We have a laundry room adjacent to our family room. Even with door closed it drowns out the TV at higher than normal volume. Other customers cited the loudness of this unit and they weren't kidding. Wish I spent a few hundred more for a quiet one. I have large number of fam over for holidays and don't have the time to play exchange games with Best Buy.

This would be our 2nd GE washing machine after our first gen GE of this model went out. It's very similar to our 1st GE so it's easy to set up the wash settings, no fancy chime or pressing on an electrical board, it's all knobs and a press of a button to start. When it comes to the wash, it was fast yet effective on washing out stains and odor. It's also quiet during the wash and rinse so thats a plus. Lastly, it doesnt have that loud of a ring to notify you when it's done, which is ok, just gotta check in every 30min.

Loooove this washer. I dont have to worry if my clothes are actually clean, doesnt take a million years to wash either. And i LOVE that i can have the lid open while it fills. It reminds me of the heavy duty dependability of old school washers with new features that i like from newer ones. Its so easy to us. Definitely my new favorite appliance

2nd one of this model that we have owned. After over 4 years the 1st one was replaced under the Geek Squad warranty. Purchased this model originally because it has a real agitator and fills up with water so the clothes get clean. Usually we go with what my friend Sam Sung recommends and we had one of the water saving / no agitator models by another manufacturer and it rusted out in a little over a year. This has been a good machine and offers lots of washing options - extra soak, extra spin, etc. Would say this is definitely one of the better machines out there, especially for the price.

This washer has large capacity for putting in clothing, but it tries, even on the highest water level setting, to wash with too little water. Also, because the washer locks when spinning, if the washer load gets unbalanced, it is necessary to stop the washer, and then there is no way to resume the cycle. My old GE washer was much better than this one.
