I wanted something really simple and not digital. Just something with simple to use knobs with just a few settings that I know I would use and this one has been exactly that. It has a huge drum and has been able to clean all of my bulkier blankets with no problems.

I like this GE Washer because I have control of ALL water levels, unlike others machines as i came to notice. Be aware of this. These new machines 'save water' at the expense of not rinsing out your clothes unless you 'suggest' it. Bet you didn't know that. These new machines are water efficient; no concern of residue left in clothes due to insufficient amount of 'rinse' technology. Unless of course you turn the dial to extra rinse. Now thats a rinse cycle. This GE tub is huge compared to my broken Whirlpool. Maybe if they'd shrink the tub size, that same amount of water could cover clothes. Just a thought.

I’m able to keep the lid open and still add clothes. The only downside to this machine is that sometimes it loses its balance easily and Knox even with a small amount of clothes.

Note: If Deep Fill and Deep Rinse are both selected, the amount of rinse water will match the Deep Fill amount of water. We just know it will become a fast favorite in your laundry space!

I’m very grateful that Best Buy not only has good prices but also has great sales. No way could I have afforded a new washer had this not been the case. And on top of the great sale price it came with a warranty from the manufacturer. No additional cost and still got a warranty. Perfect timing for a large family with a small budget.
