Yes, it's noisy but it really gets my clothes clean - and it doesn't take hours to do the job. I replaced an LG that broke after only 3 1/2 years with this machine and it's gotten whites - that the LG had turned yellow - white again. The deep water fill and deep water rinse options are great. Also the warm water rinse option. I've had it a month or so, and I'm happy I bought it.

I was hesitant about this washer because I read so many bad reviews, but I took a chance. I love this washer! I have not had a single off-balance issue with it, even washing rugs and a queen size comforter. It makes a different noise than my old washer, but not a worse or louder noise, and I really have had no problems with it at all. I appreciate the extra space to wash bulky items, and the spin cycle is excellent, cutting down on my drying time.

bought both GE washer asd dryer . washer made horrible noise and fryer shut off after 2 minutes of use . call GE tech support and acknowledge there is problems with both washer and dryer , both RETURNED FOR FULL REFUND ..GARBAGE

This washer malfunctioned within a year. It took a month for GE to finally repair it. I spoke with many GE associates about my poor experience, including the Consumer Relations Manager, who works directly for the President of GE. I asked for a 3 year warranty to ensure I would have a dependable washer for a few years. I was told GE can only provide a warranty on their washers for two years. So, I'm very disappointed. I think it's sad that a company of GE's size, longevity, and resources cannot guarantee that their appliances will work for at least three years. I reported my experience to the Better Business Bureau. Also, the machine is very loud and rocks violently.

This is possibly the worst washing machine I have encountered in my 74 years. The noise it makes when spinning is louder than our generator when it is on. It is actually pretty scary. You could not really have this machine in a living space. In a duplex or apartment I suspect neighbours would complain about the noise. Very often the clothes are in a great wet heap at the bottom of the washer at the end of the cycle.When visited by a technician, he told me to only use the heavy duty and sheet cycle with deep fill because the washer doesn’t get enough water on other cycles to spin th clothes dry. Please stay away from this machine. It really shouldn’t be sold.

I bought this at the bestbuy warehouse, open box. Used it once great wash machine. I have it in my rental unit and no complaints.

I've had this washer for about 8 months now, and for the most part it has been a good washer. But, I have experienced all kinds of issues. Have had to had the washer repaired 3 times so far, and am now getting it replaced. Seemed to have no rhyme or reason for why it failed, just build poorly I guess. I would look at other manufacturers for a more reliable solution.

I just received my washer 4 days ago. Disappointed because it’s noisy and the clothes are still pretty wet once washing is complete.

destroys more clothing the cleans. We had to buy a new washer because our 25 year old machine just decided to self destroy :(. we figured more space to clean blankets and such but NOPE it just destroys them.. even in small or light loads. Most likely going for a more commercial type in the very near future.

I've had the washer for over a year now. noticing a lot of things torn. At first I thought items were wore out. But I've never had so many items start to come up torn. Under arms on T-Shirts. Socks. My old washer didn't do this. I don't think this is a coincidence. My old washer was also one that filled up with water instead of using the bare minimum. This may be the reason, A lot more friction between the clothes vs being swished around in a tub of water before. I've started using the deep fill and deep rinse to see if this helps.

This is the worse washer I have ever owned. It is barely a year old and the belt needs replacing. Probable due to the fact that it can not stay balanced for normal size loads. It says deep capacity, but it is unable to handle even the simplest loads. I absolutely hate it.

Have had this washer for just 3 years. Worked fine, but now constantly goes out of balance and repeats the "balancing cycle" several times before giving up. Lots of water wasted. It does this on any size load, even empty. Of course the warranty is expired. To much technology added, causing more headache than necessary. Our previous washer run great for 15 years. We wanted a bigger model and thought this would be a good unit.

I am so very disappointed in this junk of a machine. It was a waste of my money. The wash cycle is a joke - even on deep clean - 5 minutes. No wonder it saves energy!!!
