Best Buy is Best of Laundry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this new washer. The appearance is fabulous and easy of use is great. A little bit of a challenge if you are short to get all of the clothes out of the bottom; but great washing results for our clothes!

Liking my new GE
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am pleased with the cleanliness of all items which is my first concern. I wish I had gotten one with no agitator, particularly for sheets. However, I chose this on own and it will be fine. Not impressed with water level but I imagine that is true of most new washers because of environmental regulations. I would definitely buy a GE again. I like the black color!

OVERALL NICE WASHER
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I GAVE 4 STARS DUE TO BALANCE ISSUES. I bought this washer after owning my last washer for 15 plus years. I like this washer for the most part, except it will get off balance with the minimalist loads. Other then that I have had no issues, besides not ordering dryer when I order the washer and now the dryer is $400 more than when I bought washer. So needless to say I have not ordered the dryer to go with it.

Awesome washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Replaced my 12 year old washer with this machine and it's a big difference. Quiet and High Capacity is great feature. The color also adds a nice touch. I own the washer and dryer combo and it's been great.

First one stopped working within hours
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Received first washer and literally hours later when during the first wash it would not drain and completely stopped working. Even called a plumber ($125) to come look at it that evening since I was thinking there was no way an almost $800 appliance stopped working within hours of being installed. Was on the phone for hours that evening trying to get help to get it replaced. After being on hold for almost 2 hours was transferred to a different group and waited another hour. They set up the replacement order and it was delivered 2 days later. Second machine works fine the first one per the delivery guys after they drained it said there was some rust in it. Not a fun experience for such an expensive machine and desperately needed to wash some clothes - of course going to someone’s house or the laundromat isn’t the same these days while in the middle of a pandemic.

Prompt service by Sebastien @ Port Charlotte store
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Would have been dissuaded from Best Buy for life, had it not been for SEBASTIEN JOSEPH at Port Charlotte store. We recently ordered a GE Washer & Dryer from Best Buy Port Charlotte store but were disheartened and petrified with the experience as they weren’t delivered on the said day and we were not even intimated about the unavailability of one of the two items earlier than the day of delivery. On calling and inquiring, Best Buy apologised for no intimation, compensated a little and confirmed a new date which was after two weeks. When the items FINALLY arrived after couple of weeks, things were still in total disarray; delivery man informed one item was unboxed as it was probably on display and that one of our electric sockets wasn’t working (it was fine earlier as machines were installed there previously too), when I asked him to check with a detector, he told me he had none. Isn’t it surprising to know the installation guy has no appropriate tools on him? Specially since we had inquired about it at the store regarding the right attachments (two or three pronged sockets, pipes, hose etc) which were ordered as well and we were additionally informed that incase something was missing or if it required an adjustment then the delivery truck is equipped with it. The delivery guy then rushed things up; installed a short drain hose which didn’t fit right so was unable to check if the machine worked, not to forget the socket he said wasn’t working too. Long story short, the machines were left as is. Totally frustrated with such an incompetent delivery after waiting for two weeks, I call up Best Buy but was kept me on a long hold. By this time, me being a layman was able to check that the socket was working fine so the machine turned on but due to the inadequate hose ofcourse I couldn’t run it still. Though we had never met but still I emailed SEBASTIEN JOSEPH (Back Office Leader) whose name was printed on the visiting card handed to us by one of the Best Buy members with some info on the back of it when I had last visited the store. Not only he called me up within no time of receiving my email, he patiently heard the entire issue and resolved it. The very next day, he accompanied a Geek Squad rep. GRANT (hands on and well-informed) to fix the issue and supervise the matter. Honestly, we were so done with the whole incident that had decided to bid farewell to Best Buy for good but only due to SEBASTIEN JOSEPH's prompt action, we changed our stance. We are very thankful to him and GRANT from the Geek Squad for handling the matter with true professionalism. Best Buy should be glad to have such competent members onboard.

Needs a better balancing method
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Older washers didnt have to be as balanced as this one. The machine will try to balance a load but if it fails to balance or you do not do it yourself, you will probably go through 3 or 4 wash cycles before it finally gets it balanced. Still good washer, I do not have an issue but others in the house do.

Posted .Hello- Thank you for your purchase. All GE Appliances washer tubs move freely within our exclusive auto balance suspension system. It is a rod and spring floating suspension, designed to withstand extensive out of balance situations without the need for an "out of balance" switch.
During an out of balance load, the basket is allowed to "float" forward and backward, side to side, and up and down, yet it never touches the floor nor is it even connected to the floor. As a result, the clothes basket can move freely, and this is normal. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to share this with our engineering and design teams. If you have any questions in the future, please let us know. We are here to help! Joyce@GEA

It's a washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our clothes are getting cleaned. After our front load washer went out we picked this one up. I would say it cleans the clothes better than the front load we had. My only complaint is it is a little louder than what we had before. The noise is terrible, just noticed it being a little louder.

Best washer I’ve had
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best washer I’ve had. It is quiet and chimes when finished. It weighs the clothes so it doesn’t need to use as much water unnecessarily. I love the colour and all the features it has.

Good washer
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have been happy with this machine. It seems to wash clothes well. I like the detergent dispenser and it really spins out the clothes for drying. The spin cycle is a little bit loud so plan accordingly. Also the cycles are a bit long as the sensors for water filling take a while. We do 1-2 loads per day and it is doing great.

Big washer
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the washer and dryer set because it said it could be connected to Alexa. However what they don’t tell you is that another $50 part is needed. The part was sold out and I couldn’t find anything about what I would be able to do once it was connected to Alexa. I wanted to be able to say start washer or dryer. In the end, I realized I didn’t need it. If you are buying it because of the smart technology, keep looking. Otherwise it’s a great washer. It holds a lot of clothes!

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently I am rating this machine as 4 until I can truly learn all of it's fine points. The control panel and washing is very sensitive and I am learning that if you do not have it on the correct setting, the clothes do not spin completely. Otherwise I love the machine. I also have not used the stain features.

Good for price
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The washer does a good job at cleaning. The only issue is when running towels or anything heavy using towel or sheet cycles leaves a lot of water and I hAd to ring out blankets because they were still soaked

NICE MACHINE BUT CAN'T HANDLE HEAVY LOADS
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really wanted to give this machine 4 1/2 stars but there is no way to show that with the icons given. In any case, I am mostly happy with this new machine but a little disappointed that it really can't handle a heavy load. My previous machine had no problem at all, so I was very surprised that when I had put in a sheet, pillow cases and a thin bed cover that the machine started a loud knocking noise. I had to remove the sheets and pillow cases and then it worked fine. So, if you have a large family, this won't be the machine for you. You have to be very careful when filling the machine with clothes and/or bed sheets etc... It only can take but so much. A big disappointment but it does work well otherwise.

WASHING IS EASY BUT DRAINING IS OFF!!!!!!!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.EASY TO LOAD/UNLOAD, OPTIONS ARE EASY TO READ. WHEN IT COMES TO SPINNING TO DRAIN LARGE LOADS OR SHEETS/TOWELS IT BECOMES UNBALANCED AND DOESN'T SPIN THE WATER OUT, LEAVING TOWELS/SHEETS SOAKING WET. TRIED SEVERAL DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND GET THE SAME RESULTS.
