    The product operates as advertised. It was a gift for my brother. He picked it up in Rhode Island. However, there was an extended warranty that was purchased and I don't have information on this to send my brother?

    Decemt but having problems

    Purchased a little over a month ago and ac is all ready going out. Compressor is kicking really hard and causing almost full power loss on my house. It does cool when working and may be just a bad unit but just beware.

    Out of the box this AC was quiet and cold. After three weeks it started making this loud, constant whirring sound. It still makes cold air, but it’s louder than any AC I’ve ever owned. It’s even louder than the 10 year old AC I just replaced.

    I've bought this unit twice. Once last year (8,000BTUs) and after a couple of months, it stopped working. Even on the high setting, it did not cool my bedroom. Good thing I has the Warranty, and got credit for a new one. A 10,000BTU unit. Installed it this year late May/June. It is now August and it stopped working AGAIN! Will be getting a refund and switch manufacturers

    The only thing I don't like is that you have to hit the power button twice to turn it off and on.

    The delivery was a day late. But the A/C arrived in good condition. It was installed the next day and has been running like a champ ever since. Its been 90 degrees out and its frideged in my apartment. Thank you. Also got 12 months to pay it off.

    This item works great. Only problem that kept it from 5 stars is that once you set up wifi if you change the wifi its impossible to reset

    Recommend it went to home depot and they were more expensive for a Toshiba brand and smaller unit totally recommend it 2 weeks later bought a bigger unit

    Air condition got really cold and that was good but after I put it in the window and sealed everything up. I notice bugs and frogs getting in the house. The back of the air conditioner has many holes on top from the outside and they was getting in the house from there. I took it out and returned it.

We know this must have been inconvenient, and it's certainly not the positive experience we want to provide. If you still had the unit, contacting an insect removal company or handyman service would likely have been the best step for you to take.     My family is very happy with the choice I made in purchasing this A/C. It's quiet, WiFi and it has a remote. I own a three bedroom home and this A/C cools my entire first floor.

    This is now the second one i have purchased and the item failed. The first one just randomly shut off and the didnt turn back on. I called GE and they had me buy another then sent a check in the mail. That took like 7 weeks. Then i got this one. Now this one is spewing water out of the front of it. I cleaned it per their instructions, and they deemed this one to broken too. Now GE is paying for a professional company to come out and install a brand new one AGAIN! The customer service is great but the product is absolute garbage. Also just FYI GE app sucks. It does work woth Google, but its a pain in the neck to get working.

We know how very frustrating that would be, and it's definitely not the ownership experience we want to provide. If water is leaking from the unit, that can normally be resolved by making sure the air conditioner is adequately tilted to the outside; it should be slightly slanted from the case front to the rear to ensure proper drainage. Your feedback regarding those issues with the first unit failing and the second leaking, as well as your concern over the app, will certainly be sent to our Design teams for review and future development; we appreciate receiving consumer insights, as we want to know about any possible areas of concern.
