Was great buy. Perfect size for the room I needed it in

This was truly a lifesaving purchase. I was having surgery and needed this in my bedroom to complete the de-cluttering of my home.

It is working fine. I would prefer it to be quieter.

Works just fine, not that cold but works , for the price i recommend.

Great ac. Super lightweight and easy to setup. The Bluetooth feature is awesome. I can control and monitor and set the temperature for anywhere. Works well with google home as well. 5 stars

Worst window unit ever purchased. This thing is a joke. Furthermore GE lost any and all future business with us. We purchsed two of these acs from best buy. The first broke within 3 months due to moisture build up in the electronic panel. We contacted GE and spent hours on hold to be told to purchase a new one and they would refund us. Three more calls three more promises the years later and still nothing. Also that second unit we paid for ; same thing started happening again and we just removed the electronic panel and now use the app to control the ac. This is communal because it's not the easiest thing to connect or to stay connected to. Also the moisture damage still makes it randomly change settings when it wants so I have ti monitor the app regularly. Absolute bull crap.

Nice unit. The automatic feature works well so unit is not running constantly. Keeps the room at comfortable temperature.

Background: I'm from New England where summers last about 4 months, but the hottest days are typically July/August. I also have a smaller home, 1140 sq. ft. total, so a whole-house unit isn't necessarily practical given the cost of equipment, materials and installation. A window unit is more economical and has been more than enough in the 7 years we've lived there. I bought this in June of 2020. It was reasonably priced for an A/C of its size and had very good ratings. It did well for our family room, kitchen and dining room that summer. However, come summer 2021, and only after it being installed for maybe a month, it started to malfunction. The unit would act as fan-only when set to "Eco" and "Auto" fan speed. Also, the room temperature would read as less than 50 degrees, which would cause the unit to turn off. The only setting where the unit would blow cold and begin to cool the room is when its set to "Cool" and "High" fan speed. The room temp would also read near actual (74-80 deg). All other settings ("Cool"/"Mid", "Cool"/"Low", "Eco"/"Low" etc. would cause it to read a room temperature well below actual (normally 50 degrees) and not cool, just blow room temp air. I know most window unit manufacturers only have a one year warranty, but it seems ridiculous considering most air conditioners should be lasting at least a 5-6 summer seasons, at least in New England since they are only used 4 months out of the year. The Kenmore I had previously lasted nearly 8 seasons. Like many other appliances, there is a $100 service fee plus the cost of parts and labor, which is TBD. It will most likely add up to near the cost of a whole new unit. I will try to work with GE to see if they are willing to concede that something like this shouldn't happen for something used for barely two seasons (6 mos. total) and do the repair work for free. Otherwise, I'll probably stick it out with this one knowing I'll spend a little more on electricity and wait until Winter to purchase a new, different brand unit on sale.

The first one I bought was defective. Bestbuy replaced it and with the mobile scheduling, i come home to a nice cooled home.

This air condition was a good buy. It provides the coolest air and was easy to install.

not sure of how well it worked couldn't get a chance to use it because of how wide it was ended up having to return

very quiet compared to last unit, which was half cooling capacity. Eco mode works well overnight. lighter than old unit also

Great A/C! Give it a day or so to break in and it will get much quieter.

Good product. I would recommend if you need smart control.

Sometimes it gets cold and sometimes it just shut-off and blows warm air for up to 30 mins or so, then goes to cold again, i think then thermostat is off or something

Everything was well, we went back to look for another, but they were out.
