Good machine for the price

Not exactly quiet but cools efficiently and has a nice thermostat feature that turns it off when it reaches the set temp. Installed on a second floor window but it was not terribly hard to install even in that tough spot. For the price a very good deal.

Do not buy this air conditioner!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The first one I bought lasted 1 week, second one lasted maybe a month. The first 14 days Best Buy will replace it after that you have to deal with GE and they will only give you a voucher. You have to pay up front for another GE product at your purchase price or more to get a refund maybe 6 weeks later. Save your money and avoid at all costs or just keep going through a vicious cycle of defective air conditioners. Buyer Beware!

Worked for a year and died
