Do not ever buy a warranty threw them i paided almost.as.much for warranty as i did the AC yet now i got to go threw manafacture. Now i got to waist my weekend goin making posts on all social media and review sites to warn others

This unit has been nothing but trouble since day one. It turns off every 15 minutes because it says the internal tank is full, so i put a hose to a bucket to drain the water, it fills an entire bucket in less than 4 hours, so if you have to go to work or any engagement that will be longer then you need to turn it off before you leave the house. When it does decide to work, the coils freeze up immediately and it stops blowing cold air. Also if i put it on any setting above low it blows the circuit, and based on the information given, the circuit it is on should be more than powerful enough to support it. I thought buying GE instead of a no name brand would mean i got a item of at least reasonable quality, boy was i wrong!

Your warranty is for one-year from your purchase date and covers the unit if it fails due to a defect in materials or workmanship. We will replace, repair, or refund the unit due to this for that year period. You can take advantage of this by calling 866-907-1655. NOT WORTH THE HASSLE

Bestbuy only has a 15 day exchange/return policy so I'm out almost $700 on a defective product. Last time I'm buying GE and will never shop bestbuy again.
