In our bedroom it quiet and serves as a white noise for sleep. I had to cut the plastic to fit my window which was easy. Remote works perfectly.

But it is loud when it rans, really loud! It also constantly cycles on and off, every 10 minutes or so. I don't see how anyone can get any sleep with this thing in their bedroom. Think I'll return this one and get a window AC instead.

Hard to empty the water. Small area where cold air blows out. Had to place on table to shorten the exhaust vent going to outside. Overall I would probably pick a different model if given the chance.

It keeps my bedroom cold. We did have to put a fan in front of it to help distribute the air but it is amazing and works VERY well!

The only bad things about these portable ac units is the big tube you need to vent the hot air outside. We bought an extra 5' hose and taped to reach more of the house.

Incredibly loud compressor.

The compressor is so loud and high pitch. I have had several portable air conditioners in my life, but this is too loud. The wifi featured worked well and it cooled like it was supposed to. Returning it.

Difficult to lock in place and the plastic shield that fits under the window is flimsy. No quieter than a window unit. Cannot connect it to WiFi. Poor instructions tho it seems to cool the room

We would recommend using the sliding panels to fit the window and the cam locks to lock it in place along with sliding the window to be as closed as possible. More information is on page 11 of the use and care manual.
