I called GE and they are sending me a cover no questions asked. Stuff happens but they are making it right. Too soon to tell how freezer works but so far so good.

Best Buy is selling garbage .

Was happy to find a quality rated replacement at a very affordable price. This GE freezer works well and looks good. Paid about $50 more than I did 18 years ago and have a better quality freezer.

Glad that Best Buy has this in stock (for a short time), since really difficult to find in stock. Must have during this time.
