I ended up using the burners from my old range. There are control knobs with numbers on the range if needed. VERY BAD IDEA!!!!!!!!

Posted .Hello, thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear that you have not been pleased with your range's Sensi-Temp burners and understand your frustration. The Sensi-Temp burners will operate differently than regular burners. They will monitor the temperature of the food you are preparing and will shut off and turn back on regularly to maintain safe cooking temperatures. They also require the use of completely flat cookware to operate properly. We do not recommend that you use other burners in place of these as they have not been tested and approved for use. Once the stovetop heats up the burner being used, reduces the heat automatically and unable to increase heat until stovetop cools down. Think twice before purchasing this brand. I don’t recommend it!

Posted .Each coil surface unit uses "Sensi-Temp Technology" to reduce the risk of cooktop oil and grease fires. This feature is located in the center of each surface unit. Power to the surface unit is temporarily interrupted when a pot or pan exceeds expected cooking temperatures. Even after the surface units are turned off, the surface unit retains enough heat to continue cooking. To ensure the best performance from your cooktop, please review the "Cookware for Coil Cooktops" section on pages 8-9 of the Owner's Manual to make sure you have the proper cookware for this range.
