Customers are satisfied with the air fryer, burners, ease of use, and self-cleaning features of this range. Many appreciate the multiple burner sizes and the effectiveness of the self-cleaning system. However, some users find the timer to be too quiet and the bottom drawer to be somewhat flimsy. Overall, the positive feedback on performance and features outweighs the minor concerns about the timer and storage drawer.

This is a great stove...except there in a slot that didn't get cut correctly on one of the burners. After receiving 3 replacement parts tgatcall have the same defect best buy tokd me "I" need to call and report this to general electric. It turned i to a nightmare when I explained "they" need to contact and inform GE of the quality control problem. Best buy is the distributor, GE is the manufacturer. Why should I have to take a vacation day to sit on hold with GE for 3 hours. You sold me a defective stove. Very poor way to do business in my opinion.

Okay, first the good. It's priced right, the grates are sturdy (and you can get replacement grates cheaply including for the center burner), and the burners and oven work well. It's also easy to clean. The self cleaning feature of the oven actually works. The temperature for the oven is accurate, I placed an oven thermometer in it and the temperature was spot on. It has a storage bin underneath rather than a broiler pan, and a broiler burner at the top of the oven for broiling.
The bad: The sheet metal is very flimsy. When I press buttons on the back the entire head flexes back. It came with two screws in the wrong place and a wire pinched in the sheet metal, I had to relocate them to the correct holes and put the wire in its right place. It is built to a price point by indifferent workers, and it shows. But: It does work well and is priced right and repair parts are cheap and readily available. So.

At 59 years old, this is the first new range I have ever purchased. Previously, the houses I bought or rented apartments came with appliances. So I did my due diligence and am glad I landed on this one.
I had a list of features I wanted--sealed burners, grates that covered the entire top of the burner section, and a bottom drawer for storage. To get those features, I had to accept additional features I did not necessarily need. Or at least I thought so. I haven't used convection or steam cleaning but the air fry is so awesome. I would never have bought a countertop air fryer because I did not need another single-use appliance. But having it in the oven is great. And I am sure the steam cleaning will be of great use, as I really do not trust the extreme heat self-cleaning ovens (although this does have that capability, if ever the need arises). Also, having a bigger burner for boiling water and using a wok is amazing. While my old stove still worked, this one is so much more exacting on the oven temps.
I highly recommend this range if you are considering a new purchase. Functionally it is great but it also looks beautiful in the kitchen.

Generally satisfactory. Several points: 1) convection (air-frying) oven useful, though not sure about no pre-heating, and odors come out, at least for first several uses so far; 2) opening/closing mechanism for bottom removable storage drawer is flimsy, as is shallow handgrip; 3) on the stove right side, the 15,000 BTU burner should be in front, and the 9,000 BTU burner should be in the back (actual range has this in reverse); 4) the Center Oval Burner is O.K. as a griddle, but too weak for odd-size cookware (e.g. a water bath for steaming large items—took forever to get the water boiling). Would I buy it again? Maybe

1. So far we are disappointed WE DID NOT receive a physical instruction manual. It’s not very convenient to have to look up instructions on the computer. I would like to request a physical instruction manual. 2. I cannot warm my tortillas on the grates because they stick. 3. I guess I’ll have call your customer service. Do we need to season the grates or something? 4. I do like the different sizes of burners and they light very quickly. 5. The installers were rushed but very polite. 6. An “A” for installers. 7. I am happy with the Airfryer. Thank you.

I am happy with my range, the power burner and grill are awesome. The self cleaning oven system works well, as does the oven in all modes.
My only complaint is the storage drawer, it keeps coming off the track and getting stuck. It would get no stars, but I am happy with the rest of the range. I will not be putting anything in the drawer ever again, if I can get it open..sad face

I recommend this stove. My wife (The Chef, me I'm more of a greasy spoon kinda cook), really, really likes this gas range. We had it converted to propane. Works like a charm. Four top burners with a grill in between the burners is an awesome feature. Oven heats evenly. My youngest son, Chef in training, loves the air fryer feature. Actually, its a wonder I am not carrying a few extra pounds. I'm not saying this stove will make you a chef, but it won't be the reason they don't eat your food. :-) .

I love my new stove and my boys le the griddle, they do not have to walk 10 steps to get a pan. The convection oven is wonderful, the appearance is absolutely gorgeous. the only problem I have and it is not a problem as more of an inconvenience, is the timer could stand to be louder.

I really love this stove. We've had it for a few months now and everything works great. I haven't used the oven for any time critical baking like Christmas Cookies yet, but overall the stove top and oven is working as advertised. I bought the grill accessory and I use that instead of the griddle top. The only thing that isn't perfect: one of the iron grates is cracked. It probably arrived that way. So you should do a close & careful inspection of all parts before signing off on delivery. I didn't catch it until the first time I washed them. Our stove is modified for propane gas and that works well also. We had Best Buy delivery guys in Honolulu install this one and haul the old one away and they were on time, efficient and good to work with. I'm just a regular purchaser...not part of a promotion. But I can recommend this stove.

This GE Stove works beautifully, but it scratches easily and doesn't clean up very well. No matter how hard we try to clean the burners and surrounding areas, as well as what we use to clean and polish this unit, it still looks dirty. It is NOT fingerprint resistant at all. Every little touch leaves a mark that we must clean and polish on a daily basis to make the surface look even halfway decent. The interior is horrendous to clean, and the steamer cleaner doesn't work at all. It is not self-cleaning, even though the description states it us, so we have to constantly use Easy Off and good old elbow grease to get the interior clean.
Having said all this, it does regulate heat beautifully and accurately, both burners and oven, which makes it work the money.

I purchased this stove because the grates on the stovetop would hold my small saucepan even, not tilt to one side. I'm still trying out the stove. Haven't used the griddle or oven yet, only used three of four burners. So far, so good. The only downside is the timer. It beeps so softly that unless you're standing by the stove, you can't hear it. Also, it turns off by itself, so you better be right by the stove it you're baking something.

I love my stove. Fast burner is great. It really does bring things to a boil faster. The grill is wonderful I can heat things up quickly or make bacon and eggs. The only thing I don’t like is the bottom drawer. It’s flimsy and not up to par with the rest of the stove. Other than that it’s a great appliance.

I purchased GE 5.0 stainless steel gas convection range to replace 20 year old Bisque GE range. I like the features: 5 burner with griddle, self-steam clean, air fry, broiler in oven, bottom drawer for storage. Looks high end for a good price. The burners have varied BTU output. Make sure you use a very large pot on the biggest burner. I almost burned my handles.

Very sleek and beautiful! If features both steam clean and self cleaning modes. The only complaint I have is that this oven will cook your food at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for bake or convection bake and roast. The air fryer cooks at 400 degrees THAT'S IT! 350 and 400 degrees. If your an avid baker, (pastry, cakes, etc) or need/want to bake/roast at other temps for special recipes, don't get this oven! I wouldn't have brought this one if I about the limited baking temps.
