After using the oven I am concerned about the obvious poor insulation GE has put in this stove, the burners grates actually heat up so you can burn yourself with just the oven on. We are thinking about returning it.

Is well constructed, I like the different size of the burners, the grill is great. The oven fantastic. And what I like the most is that was made in Mexico, not in China.

Order rescheduled twice over 7 Weeks. After the second reschedule they confirmed delivery then asked for another 4 Weeks only 12 Hours after confirming they were on the way.

Hello. We are sorry to hear that your range arrived with the door locked. In some cases, it is possible for the door gasket on a new gas or electric range to stick to the frame of the range frame, making it seem as though the door is locked. If the range is newly installed and has not been used, try pulling harder on the door handle until it opens. Once opened, this should not occur again. If this does not correct the issue then a service call is needed. You can schedule an appointment with a GE Service technician at 1-800-432-2737 or online at https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm -- You might also try unplugging the range or shutting the circuit breaker supplying power to the range for 2 minutes and then back on to allow the electronics to reset. Very nice stove, good price. Plenty of features. I do not recommend getting the install from Best Buy. They just deliver and make sure the burners turn on. They dont even take the plastic and papers out of the oven. If it didnt turn on I guess I would have tried to return it becuase the installers didnt check it.
